TechGuard Pro wraps the rear housing and controller grips of the PlayStation Portal in a flexible TPU shell that helps reduce direct contact with scratches, scuffs, fingerprints, and light bumps. The built-in rear support folds out to hold the device upright on a stable surface for charging, updates, menu viewing, or display between sessions.
The live selector combines two different products. White and Black are $24.95 protective-case variants. “Screen Protector” is a separate $9.95 screen-protector-only option and does not include the TPU case or stand.
Why TechGuard Pro
A padded travel case protects the Portal only while it is zipped away. TechGuard Pro remains installed around the device body, adding a flexible outer layer to the rear shell and grip areas while leaving the display and integrated controls directly accessible.
The molded shape gives the grips a more textured outer surface, while the fold-out stand creates a convenient resting position. Because Portal gameplay depends on its integrated controls, the stand should be treated as tabletop support rather than a replacement for holding the device during active play.

Soft TPU Construction
Flexible material bends during installation and adds an outer barrier around the rear housing and controller-grip surfaces.
Integrated Rear Stand
Folds out to support the Portal upright on a level desk, table, shelf, or nightstand, then folds back into the case profile.
Direct Display Access
The case leaves the Portal’s 8-inch front display uncovered so image clarity and touch interaction are not filtered through a built-in plastic layer.
Controller Clearance
Openings preserve access to the analog sticks, directional controls, face buttons, shoulder controls, adaptive triggers, Create button, Options button, and PS button.
Port and Speaker Access
Model-specific cutouts are intended to preserve access to charging, wired audio, speakers, and other functional openings.
White and Black Options
Choose a light or dark shell to coordinate with the Portal hardware or the rest of your gaming setup.

Compatibility comes first
This shell is molded for the PlayStation Portal form factor and its integrated controller layout. It is not a generic tablet case and is not designed for a Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, smartphone, ordinary DualSense controller, or another handheld.
Compatible Device
PlayStation Portal Remote Player with the standard Portal body and integrated controls.
Not a Travel Case
This is an installed shell, not a padded zippered case for bag or luggage protection.
Screen Remains Exposed
Choose the separate screen-protector option when front-display coverage is also desired.
Do not confuse the $9.95 and $24.95 variants
The current product page uses one selector for both the shell and the screen protector. The option name—not merely the product-page title—determines what will be shipped.
Installation and first-use check
1. Power Off and Clean
Turn off the Portal and remove dust or grit from the device and the inside of the shell.
2. Align the Controls
Match the shell openings with the screen, sticks, triggers, speakers, charging connection, and headset jack.
3. Work Around the Edges
Flex the TPU gradually around each grip and rear edge without pressing on the screen or forcing the controls.
4. Complete a Function Check
Test every button, stick, trigger, speaker, port, and the rear stand before extended use.
What’s included
White/Black option: 1 × TPU Portal case with stand
Screen Protector option: 1 × compatible display protector
PlayStation Portal, charging cable, headset, padded carrying case, and unrelated accessories are not included. A screen protector is not included with the White or Black case unless the live option explicitly says otherwise.
Protection and care
TechGuard Pro helps reduce exposure to common scratches, scuffs, fingerprints, and light contact but cannot prevent every type of damage. The screen, controls, triggers, speakers, and ports remain exposed. Remove the shell periodically to clean trapped dust and inspect the device. Do not carry the Portal loose in a bag with hard objects; use a padded travel case for transport.

Select White or Black for the case, or select Screen Protector only when you want the separate display-cover product.
