Victor's paintings reflect the influence of his early training and life in Canton, China. However, after graduating from the Art Institute of Chicago, he won numerous awards throughout the United States and in 1968 was elected to the American Watercolor Society. His works are represented in many major galleries and museums. Recognized for his technique, which results from a combination of Chinese brush strokes and a Western concept of pattern and design - Victor creates works which blend to formulate a poetical and mystical style all his own.
