The Allison 1000 has no doubt proven itself since its mating in 2001 behind the first Duramax equipped GM trucks. Its longevity, even when pushed with moderately heavy loads and higher horsepower have put it at the forefront of transmissions until recently. However, as miles and horsepower accumulate, these transmissions will find their failure points, and ATS has the cure to ensure your horsepower is getting to the ground efficiently.

By increasing the capability of the torque converter, clutch surface area, and line pressure, the transmission can hold 200% more torque than stock. The result is a setup strong enough to handle aftermarket fueling, turbo(s), and tuning, yet is still smooth enough to tow and daily drive with.

ATS Extreme Allison Packages include proprietary modifications to the drums and pistons. ATS has found these modifications necessary when power goes over 700hp at the tires. In addition, the pump is also modified more extensively for increased line pressure. When coupled with the Co-Pilot (standard on all Extreme Packages), line pressure in excess of 300 PSI is achieved - which is needed to prevent clutch slippage.

The Stage 5 features the addition of the ATS Co-Pilot Transmission Controller. The controller dynamically raises line pressure electronically, for additional clamping force on the clutch packs. This prevents slip under high horsepower / high torque situations, such as drag racing, sled pulling or low-speed trailer towing. Shift firmness can be adjusted with the push of a button, so the driver can adjust shift feel in a matter of seconds. The Co-Pilot is designed for trucks at any power level, but becomes crucial at 600+ hp at the tires.

The Stage 5 also includes the ATS Billet Input Shaft, ATS Billet Output Shaft and ATS Billet Intermediate Shaft. On 2wd models, the ATS Billet P2 Carrier, C2 Hub and P1 Sungear are also incuded. In competition applications (drag racing/sledpulling) the stock output shaft can break when launching. ATS includes a billet 300M output shaft to eliminate this point of weakness.

WARRANTY INFORMATION: As with all ATS Transmission Packages, this transmission is covered by a 5 year / 500,000 mile warranty. In order to be eligible for this warranty, all paperwork must be filled out upon installation of the transmission and returned to ATS, to include verifying line pressure with a mechanical gauge or scan tool.

SHIPPING POLICY - Due to the size and weight of transmissions, they cannot be shipped through traditional couriers, such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. and MUST be shipped via truck freight. We do not offer free shipping on transmissions, however, we do offer a very competitive rate charged at checkout checkout. Once your core transmission is ready for pick up, you just need to give us a call or send us an e-mail with your original order number and the core tag on the transmission, and we can supply you with a quote on the return shipping as that is not covered in the original shipping cost. Otherwise, we give you the option to coordinate the return shipping on your own and independently pay your courier of choice. As always, if you have any questions, give us a call or send us an e-mail.

Will Dispell The Idea That There Are 400 Silent Years.
Format: Hardcover
This was a great read, covering the period from 500 BC to the 1st century CE. It's solidly rooted in the Bible and presents a clear, easy-to-follow narrative of a historically complex era. Thanks to this book, I now see the Gospels as a natural continuation of that time. The insights into the power struggles among various sects are particularly compelling, as is the exploration of how compromises were made in the pursuit of influence. A truly worthwhile read!

Knowledgeable History; Uncharitable Theological Commentary
Format: Kindle
The author seems incredibly knowledgeable about the topic. I am learning a tremendous amount about the period bridging the Old and New Testament periods by reading this book. However, it is incredibly frustrating to me that the author compares modern day fellow-Christian cessationists with the unbelieving Sanhedrin whom Stephen excoriated in Acts chapter 7. "The insinuation is that the Holy Spirit, which had inspired the Torah, was the very same spirit who had been prophetically active down to the time of Jesus but whom the Jewish leaders were now railing against. One wonders what words Stephen would have for modern readers who perpetuate the notion of prophetic silence." At first this passage irritated me as an unnecessary and uncharitable jab. But I decided to write a review to let readers know to be prepared: if you do not have a Grudem-style view of ongoing prophecy, you should expect the author of this book to take cheap and uncharitable jabs, and to compare you to unbelieving Jews who rejected God's word. It actually colors my ability to take the author seriously, though I paid far too much for this book not to persevere through it. The author could have chosen to take an objective and charitable stance and simply report the facts. I'm surprised an editor didn't encourage the author to restrain his criticisms.
