London Borough of Jam from England are made in small batches and cooked for a shorter time compared to generic brands. The flavor is honest and unadulterated; it is fruit-driven, rather than sugar-driven. When tasting LBJ preserves you will always taste the fruit first followed by the sugar and a special complimentary flavor. They use natural, unrefined sugars and no commercial pectins. LBJ preserves contain no more than 4 ingredients and are dairy free & vegan.

The preserves combine seasonal fruits – sourced in the UK, France, Italy and Spain – such as Victoria Plums, Greengages, Raspberries, Rhubarb and Seville Oranges with unusual additions such as bay leaf, cardamom, cocoa nibs, lemon verbena, wild fennel pollen and verjuice which we believe enhance the fruit flavours and maintain natural, respectful combinations.

Flavors:

Rhubarb & Cardamom: Earthy flavoured outdoor grown Rhubarb is paired with aromatic, spicy and citrusy ground Cardamom pods producing a jam essential for baking. Ingredients: Rhubarb, unrefined cane sugar, lemon juice & cardamom.

Fig & Earl Grey Tea: This cult flavour is a firm LBJ favourite – now it is available as part of the LBJ classic range. Made with the juiciest figs and cooked with earl grey tea producing a sweet – but ever so slight savoury – jam due to the texture/flavour from the fig seeds. Highly recommended on toast but equally as delicious served on a bruschetta with feta cheese, rocket & olive oil.

Apricot & Muscovado: Sweet tart Apricots are stoned and cooked with rich Muscovado sugar to create this lush caramelised jam. The texture is smooth and thick, as the apricots have been thoroughly cooked down. What does it go well with? Everything – or nothing – some customers have exclaimed: “all you need is a spoon. Ingredients: Apricots, unrefined cane sugar, muscovado sugar & lemon juice.

Strawberry & Rosewater: Strawberry sauce or jam? Both! We like to think of this summery jam made at the peak of the Strawberry season. Strawberries are very low in Pectin so this is perfect spooned over your ice-cream sundae or stirred into your sheep’s milk yoghurt. Paired with a hint of the Middle East, a splash of the classic Rosewater. Ingredients: Strawberries, unrefined cane sugar, rosewater & lemon juice.

Pink Gooseberry & Elderflower: A classic flavour combination that is too good not to embrace. Sweet summery pink Gooseberries are cooked with dried elderflowers to capture the British summer. Perfect on toasted Brioche or served spooned over ice cream. Ingredients: Pink Gooseberries, unrefined caster sugar, lemon juice & elderflowers.

Blackberry & Bay Leaves: Plump Blackberries are slowly cooked with fresh Bay Leaves to create a warming rich flavoured jam. A favourite for toast or spooned over thick yoghurt. Ingredients: Blackberries, unrefined caster sugar, lemon juice & ground bay leaf.

Lemon & Vanilla Marmalade:LBJ’s Marmalade for people who don't like bitter citrus. Cooked with whole Vanilla pods this is a thick cut deluxe marmalade. Expect nice chewy pieces of the pod cooked throughout. Ingredients: Unrefined cane sugar, lemons, lemon juice, vanilla beans & sea salt.

Damson & Black Pepper: These sharp & tart little purple plums are cooked with black pepper to add a fiery zing on the palette. Perfect with cheese, game meats & charcuterie. Please note this jam does not contain any stones. Ingredients: Damson plums, unrefined caster sugar, lemon juice & black pepper. 220g

Mandarin & Sherry: This festive jam brings a delightful twist with vibrant mandarin, perfectly balanced by a mineral-fresh, lightly yeasty sherry that’s crisp and refreshing. It’s a heavenly addition to holiday puddings with cream and custard, a delicious topping for trifle sponge, or a perfect complement to roasted turkey and glazed ham. And of course, it's equally delicious spread on toast! Ingredients: Mandarins, unrefined cane sugar, lemon juice & Fino sherry (5%). 220g

Apricot & Verjuice: Jammy, honeyed-sweet Apricots are paired with Verjuice, a highly acidic, non-alcoholic ingredient made from the juice of pressed unripe grapes. We add it to our Apricot jam to provide a gentle acidity, offering a more sophisticated substitute for lemon juice. It’s not a dominant flavour, but one that balances the sweetness. Luscious when dolloped on a gooey piece of Brie de Meaux. Ingredients: Apricots, unrefined cane sugar, verjuice & lemon juice. 220g

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
