The official launch of the 2021 Proof Sovereign is upon us, and this years offering is unique. the sovereign contains a crown, with the digits '95' below, celebrating Her Majesty's 95th Birthday in 2021. Along with this special mark, the sovereign has been struck with just 95 grain mills, compared to the normal 108. This is the only time the milling has been changed since the finer milling of the 1957 sovereign which contained 168 grain mills.
