7g Citrulline, 3.5g Beta-Alanine, Full-Disclosure High-Stim Energy

BlackMarket Labs ADREN.O.LYN Underground is a high-stim pre-workout that hits on energy you can feel, solid pumps, and that raw gym intensity. It skips the prop blends and shows you everything upfront. From what we've seen in formula breakdowns, it's simple: they load up on 7,000mg citrulline malate and a good hit of beta-alanine, then stack in stims and nootropics for that strong kickoff, drive, and aggressive feel.

The star here is 7,000mg citrulline malate—that's a hefty dose for a pre. Citrulline turns into arginine in your kidneys better than taking arginine straight, which boosts nitric oxide for wider blood vessels. You get better pumps, more blood to your muscles, and that lasting edge through your workout. Studies often use 6-8g, so 7g is spot on.

Beta-alanine at 3,500mg is dosed right too. It builds up carnosine in your muscles, which fights off the acid buildup from intense sets. That's key when the burn starts killing your reps. It's not an instant thing—you need it daily to ramp up carnosine. 3.5g beats the usual 3.2g from research, so it's solid.

Sodium gets overlooked, but this has 280mg, and breakdowns point to it coming from sodium bicarbonate and

BML Adren.O.Lyn by BlackMarket Labs contains 12.2mcg Vitamin B12, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • 7,000mg Citrulline Malate — this nails the 6-8g range from studies. It boosts nitric oxide via the arginine pathway, giving you those fuller pumps and better nutrient delivery to muscles, way better than the skimpy 3-4g doses in most pre's.
  • 3,500mg Beta-Alanine — a legit dose, not just for show. It ramps up muscle carnosine over time, buffering acid so you can grind through more high-intensity sets without fading as quick.
  • 300mg Caffeine Anhydrous — a solid punch for alertness and drive. Experienced folks will feel the energy boost without needing to double up.
  • 280mg Sodium — more than you see in most pre's, and it helps with hydration, blood volume, and muscle work, especially if you're mixing with water and sweating hard.
  • Sodium Bicarbonate plus Sodium Chloride support — the bicarb isn't a full standalone dose, but it fits the hydration and buffering vibe. Makes this better for tough workouts than pump-only options with no electrolytes.
  • Layered stim-nootropic mix — N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, choline bitartrate, alpha-GPC, dendrobium, eria jarensis, and mucuna team up for more than just caffeine buzz. You get intensity, focus, and that gym urgency.
  • 1,000mg Taurine — smart add with the stims and sodium. It helps with cell balance and nerve-muscle function, keeping things smooth instead of just jacking you up.
  • 100mg Theobromine — pairs with caffeine for a smoother, longer-lasting energy feel. Makes the whole stim side less spiky.

Who Is This For?

  • Bodybuilders in big volume phases wanting feel and function from pre. 7g citrulline malate boosts pumps and flow for long workouts, 3.5g beta-alanine helps with repeat sets over time.
  • Seasoned stim fans who've moved past weak 150-200mg caffeine stuff. 300mg caffeine plus theobromine, dendrobium, eria, tyrosine, and cholinergics deliver a real mental and physical lift.
  • Lifters in hot gyms or heavy sweat sessions who dig real sodium over fake electrolyte claims. 280mg supports hydration and contractions when mixed right.
  • Gym rats who check labels against studies. No prop blends here—you see it all clear.
  • Folks on upper/lower or push/pull/legs, training 4-6 days—beta-alanine builds better with steady use.
  • Users after pump plus hard stims, not one or the other. Citrulline gives real vein action, stims keep it fierce.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 12-16 oz cold water, drink 20-30 minutes pre-train. Gives time for caffeine, theobromine, and nootropics to hit, with citrulline pumps ready for sets. New or stim-sensitive? Half scoop first—300mg caffeine is just part of the kick. Use a shaker for even mix, since aminos and salts clump easy. Empty stomach speeds it up; full meal slows it. Don't stack with other high-stims or big coffee unless you're tracking intake. No need to cycle for healthy folks at this dose, but breaks help if you're always on strong pre's. Keep it sealed cool and dry to avoid clumps.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: you sip it, flavors are your typical pre taste, stomach feel varies with your tolerance to acids and stims. 10-20 minutes: beta-alanine tingles often kick in with caffeine alertness. 20-40 minutes: prime time—300mg caffeine, theobromine, and other stims build urgency and drive, citrulline pumps show under weight. 40-90 minutes: energy holds for most, but it depends on you and how the extras land. Days 1-7: feel the buzz, focus, tingles, and pumps right away. Weeks 2-4: beta-alanine shines as carnosine builds, making intense efforts last longer without as much burn.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in ADREN.O.LYN Underground?

Based on available third-party formula data, ADREN.O.LYN Underground contains 300mg caffeine anhydrous per scoop. That is a strong dose on its own, and the formula also includes theobromine plus other stimulating compounds, so the total experience often feels stronger than a simple 300mg caffeine product.

Is the citrulline dose actually effective or just label decoration?

The reported 7,000mg citrulline malate is one of the strongest parts of the formula. Research commonly uses 6-8g citrulline malate, so this sits in the range associated with improved nitric oxide support, blood flow, and a more noticeable training pump.

Why is beta-alanine included at 3,500mg?

That dose is meaningful because beta-alanine's benefits depend on reaching an adequate daily intake over time. At 3.5g, this formula exceeds the classic 3.2g benchmark used to build muscle carnosine, which helps buffer acid during hard training and can improve high-intensity repeat performance.

Will ADREN.O.LYN Underground make me tingle?

Probably. The reported 3,500mg beta-alanine is high enough that many users will feel paresthesia, the classic tingling sensation, within 10-20 minutes. That sensation is harmless for most healthy users and is not the same thing as the long-term performance benefit, which comes from consistent use.

What is the role of sodium in this formula?

The label shows 280mg sodium, which is more useful than most people realize in a pre-workout. Sodium supports hydration, plasma volume, and muscle contraction, especially if you train hard, sweat heavily, and actually drink enough water with the serving.

Is the sodium bicarbonate dose clinically effective?

Not as a standalone sodium bicarbonate performance product. Ergogenic bicarbonate dosing in research is much higher than the 500mg reportedly included here, so this should be viewed as supportive within the formula rather than a fully clinical buffering dose by itself.

Can beginners use this product?

It is not the best starting point for beginners. Between the 300mg caffeine and the additional stimulant-focus ingredients like theobromine, dendrobium, and eria, this product is better suited to experienced pre-workout users with established tolerance.

Should I take it with food or on an empty stomach?

Most users will get faster onset on a relatively empty stomach taken 20-30 minutes pre-workout. Taking it after a large meal can delay and soften the stimulant feel, though a small pre-training meal is often fine if you are sensitive to taking pre-workout completely fasted.

Can I stack ADREN.O.LYN Underground with creatine?

Yes, and it is actually a smart stack. This formula does not appear to include creatine, so adding 3-5g creatine monohydrate daily complements the pre-workout's pump and beta-alanine components by supporting ATP regeneration and strength output.

Does this formula use proprietary blends?

Based on the available formula data, no. That is a genuine advantage because every major active appears to be disclosed with an individual amount, allowing more honest evaluation than the many high-stim pre-workouts that still hide doses inside proprietary blends.

Reasonably adequate room divider
Size: 4 Panel-88'', Color: Beige
I'm reviewing this as I assemble it. Couple things: 1. I didn't expect as much assembly. I've ordered dividers before and they more-or-less came as one unit. Sometimes the panels needed screwing together. These require complete assembly and come largely as three rods: two make up vertical columns and snap together. Another one (called part "C") makes the horizontal columns and you have two of these per panel (one attaches to part "A" and the other part "B"). These parts are metal with a plastic shim. Using the wood screws to attach to part "C" is a real pain in the neck. There's not much holding the panel in place so it's a little tricky. One tactic I've found while I'm assembling that works for the initial connections from parts A and B to their respective "C" rods is to hold the screw in place with a screw driver and then rotating the rod around the screw. This will do a number on your hands if you aren't wearing gloves. This obviously doesn't work when completing the connection. Using a driller driver on this is really near impossible because there isn't anything you can use to secure it in place. You can use it on the first panel, but as it gets longer, it becomes increasingly difficult and because it isn't wood, it's really tight. I considered drilling larger pilot holes but since there are only 4x4=16 screws I need to screw in, I just decided to use my screw driver to complete it. 2. Also related to assembly. When completing the panels (attaching parts "A" and "B" to parts "C" that have the cloth cover on it), you have to be careful that when you tighten that side that it isn't loosening the other side. Because the pilot holes are so tight, you can end up rotating the rod, which rotates it in the same direction as looser on the original side. Having someone hold the "C" rod in place while you screw it in is probably the easiest approach. I didn't have a 2nd person, so I just had to keep flipping back and forth and tightening both sides as I screwed it in. Not the worlds biggest deal, but annoying nonetheless. 3. The way the instructions are written, they seem to suggest building this thing progressively; that is, you do panel 1, then 2, connect them together, then do 3 and connect it, etc. I took a different route that I suspect saved me quite a bit of trouble, and I assembled all four panels first and THEN connected everything together. 4. For the love of God make sure you check that the plastic tip is on the same side for every panel. Otherwise, you have to take one side apart again and reverse it. On the bright side, if this happens, you've essentially bored out the pilot holes to be the correct size... which is having me question if I shouldn't have just bored them out to the appropriate width in the first place. 5. Attaching all of the panels together is also an enormous pain in the ass unless you happen to have an 88" long elevated surface. Attaching the legs either requires you to elevate one side, which will invariably twist the inexplicably cheap material in the bottom connectors... or you can attach them sideways... or you can put this thing upright, having two people hold the panels in place while you use the allen wrench to tighten the bolts on the underside. None of those are particularly great options. NOW on to the utility itself. 1. The panels do let some light through (I didn't believe their advertising, and that was one of the reasons that I bought beige, is that I wanted it to not be too dark). They aren't transparent though, so it isn't that far off from their description. They functionally work great, and keep the mess of wires hidden and when I'm sitting at my desk, actually reflect quite a bit of light into my office. Great! 2. My wife has described these as "the most hideous piece of furniture ever conceived of by man." So it does not have spouse approval factor. Granted, she will seldom be in my office area, so that isn't the end of the world. 3. These are really hard to align in a way that doesn't look a little tacky. There are some plastic connectors but they don't do a bang up job of keeping these in place. Each panel is slightly tilted and it's... quite obvious. I may at some point make my own improvements to these to help make them more level. It's not a particularly expensive product so I wasn't expecting much so it's fine and I'm not going to ding them on the rating because of it. All said, would I buy this product again? Probably not. It's assembly was ~90 minutes which is about 75 minutes longer than I was anticipating spending on this (not including the 5 minute writeup that I'm doing here). But am I going to return it? Also no, if for no other reason I'd be just as annoyed taking it apart and putting it in the original box to return it.
