About:  A contemporary collection of landscape mixed media original paintings by East Anglia based artist Stuart Green.  Stuart describes he unique style "By inclination I am a painter of and about landscape. At times I will record simply for the joy of being in a particular place and at other times I will search more deeply for the marks that both man and nature have made. It is through this search that I find the colours, patterns, textures and forms that are the roots of my work. Paintings are begun with either oil pastels or oil bars and then oil paint is applied with palette knives, creating texture and the opportunity to scratch through to reveal exciting dynamics and surprises."

Medium: Original painting, oil on canvas

Size: 30cm by 120cm

Rental: Available to rent, under Rental Price Category THREE

Artist Info: Since 1981, when Stuart moved to Ely, he has exhibited all over East Anglia both in solo and group shows. Stuart has also exhibited in Germany and has work in private collections both in Europe and Australia.

"A teaching exchange in Australia dramatically changed my way of working. Seeing the world literally from many different perspectives encouraged new approaches and experimentation. I work with a variety of media including acrylic, oil pastel, water colour and pen and ink.

Living in the Fens it is impossible not to be influenced by the physical geography of the area. Huge skies and apparent narrow strips of cultivation appear in many of my paintings."

A multifaceted biographical sketch
Format: Hardcover
A complicated personality who felt strongly no one was above the law; having been in Nuremberg in 2025 gave me a different perspective of the man as the prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. He was meticulous and highly regarded in his career. Excellent read

An admiring but not uncritical portrait of a titan in the rule of law
Format: Hardcover
Professor White delivers an admiring but not uncritical portrait of a man who stood for qualities and principles now in short supply. Jackson was a leading practitioner when other judges were more political, but nevertheless had to speak the language of the rule of law. And his contributions at Nuremberg, haphazardly portrayed in the recent movie, really come through . The United States would help establish a record of epic misdeeds and show that the perpetrators could be punished in a system of justice.

Comprehensive and compelling
Format: Hardcover
With this volume, Mc Coy firmly establishes himself as a historian whose far sightedness only improves with age. A robust story teller, he demonstrates an uncanny ability to ferret the secrets out of arcane documents and records and connect the dots into a compelling narrative. Here he shows how the best and worst of political and military strategy in the US and the other cold war powers shaped the course of global events in profound ways. The lessons for us today simply leap from the page. This is a must read for any thoughtful observer of today’s world.
