Experience Premium Precision with a Modern Classic

Rediscover the joy of hand-tool woodworking with the Stanley 12-137 Sweetheart™ No. 62 Low Angle Jack Plane. Modeled after the legendary design favored by master craftsmen, this versatile plane is engineered for superior performance on the most difficult wood grains. The body is cast from heavy-duty ductile iron, providing the weight and stability needed to glide through cuts without chatter. At the heart of this tool is an extra-thick 3/16-inch A2 steel blade, known for its exceptional ability to hold a razor-sharp edge significantly longer than standard carbon steel, allowing you to work longer between sharpenings.

Designed for both heavy stock removal and delicate finishing, this "Jack" plane features a 12-degree low-angle bed, making it the ultimate weapon against end grain, knots, and figured woods where tear-out is a concern. The integrated Norris-style adjuster combines lateral and depth adjustments into a single mechanism for intuitive, micro-fine tuning. Finished with solid cherry wood handles (tote and knob) for ergonomic comfort and a touch of elegance, this tool is not just a workhorse—it is an heirloom-quality instrument essential for any serious joinery or furniture-making shop.

Key Features

  • Premium Sweetheart™ Construction: Based on the classic No. 62 design with modern material improvements.
  • Heavy-Duty Blade: Features a 3/16 in. thick A2 steel blade for superior edge retention and reduced chatter.
  • Low Angle Geometry: 12-degree bed angle is ideal for shearing end grain and planing highly figured wood without tear-out.
  • Durable Body: Base is machined from ductile iron, offering greater durability and shock resistance than grey iron.
  • Precision Adjustment: Norris-style adjuster allows for easy, single-point control over both blade depth and lateral alignment.
  • Adjustable Throat: The adjustable mouth plate allows you to close the throat for fine shavings or open it for coarse removal.
  • Ergonomic Comfort: Fitted with solid FSC-certified cherry wood handles for a comfortable, secure grip and classic aesthetic.
  • Precision Ground Sole: The sole and sides are precision ground for flatness and squareness right out of the box.

Pro Tip: The No. 62 is famously known as the best plane for using on a "shooting board." Because the sides are ground perfectly square to the sole, you can lay this plane on its side to trim the ends of boards (end grain) to perfect 90-degree or 45-degree angles. Keep the adjustable mouth closed tight (small gap) when doing this to support the wood fibers and prevent them from breaking out.

Small pump works as advertised. Needs longer hose
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1, Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
This is a physically small, light pump which matches my light duty application. I have a Solterra EV. While all cars need the tire pressure set properly, it is more important on an EV. I need to change the pressure by 2 or 3 pounds at a time on 4 tires to maintain 38psi. The pump performs beautifully. It pumps up to the 38psi I set on the pump and stops right on the button. I verified the pressure with my pressure gauge which agrees with the tire pressure monitor in the car. The pump performs accurately. The 5 button control on the device is implemented quite well making it easy to operate. It only took a minute to figure it out. My only complaint is the hose is too short. All the battery operated pumps I see have a hose that is too short. I purchased a longer hose from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2X52HY8?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1 The longer hose allows me to stand instead of bend over if I am holding the pump. I can set the pump down on the garage floor even if the schrader valve is at the 12 o’clock position on my 19 inch tires. The hose is quite flexible and easy to use. I understand some rims have tight quarters around the valve. Make sure there is room around the valve for this chuck. Overall, this does what I need and consumes only a small space in my cargo area. Quite pleased.

Works great!
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
This works great! It is kind of bulky and big but I guess that's for the air. I use it for everything and it's portable to take on the go. Love all the attachments that it comes with. Very versatile. Display reads perfectly and correct and the inflation is super fast. Will definitely buy again!

Works reasonably well, though with an Achilles' Heel.
Color: Orange, Number of Items: 1
I've had to use this on tires that were very low, both on cars and on bicycles. It works exactly as you'd expect and absolutely has no trouble handling the much higher pressures of bike tires as well as the much larger volumes of typical car tires. I kind of wish it came with some sort of pouch or something because the box it comes in is the only means to store it with all of its attachments,; Because of how tightly it's all packed in the box, it's a bit of a pain getting it all arranged neatly in the box each time, but that's a minor quibble. If Amazon reviews allowed fractional star earnings, I'd probably rate this more accurately a 3.75 or 3.875. It still has two little flaws. One is the accuracy of its pressure gauge. It always seems to fall just a little short. For example, on my car, recommended cold pressure is 36 psi in front and 39 in the back. I tried pumping to those levels, and everything looked fine. But immediately afterwards, the TPMS sensors would tell me I'm at 35 and 37. Likewise, I like to keep my bike tires at around 42 psi for my commuter bike and around 70 psi for a road bike. After using this little guy, and double checking with a separate gauge, I was getting closer to 40 psi and 67.5 psi respectively. I'm inclined to believe it's a calibration/QC problem and there might be examples that overinflate, too. So while I got one that was overestimating the actual pressure, you might get one that has the opposite issue. Still, close enough that I'm not docking it a full point for this, but a faction of a point. The biggest weakness of this device is really a double-edged sword -- its compactness. The fact that it is compact means that it fits very nicely in the under-trunk storage or even a glovebox in some cars. Problem is that when the device is small, so too is the battery. There's just no escaping this. I had a moment with all 4 tires on my car being on the low side in terms of tire pressure. They were all underinflated by about 6-7 psi below spec and so I just used this pump to get them all up to that target pressure. Even with a full charge, I could not get all 4 tires all the way up to target pressures. I could get the 4th tire about halfway there, but that was where the battery died. That's just a reality you will probably have to live with. Given that it is such a small device, this is basically inevitable, so there's no sense complaining about it, but it is a reality you should be aware of.

An Easy DIY Headlight Restoration Kit with Strong Appeal
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This restoration kit is appealing because it offers a way to improve cloudy or oxidized headlights without needing power tools. That makes it accessible for people who want to do the job themselves without investing in extra equipment. Cerakote also has a strong reputation in protective coatings, which gives this kit added credibility compared with generic restoration products. The biggest selling point is the promise of restoring clarity while adding a protective finish to help maintain the results. If the process is easy to follow and the wipes are effective, this can be a worthwhile DIY option for improving both appearance and nighttime visibility. For vehicle owners with faded headlights, this seems like one of the more convenient restoration approaches available.

Perfect
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Honestly one of the best headlight restoration kits I’ve used. The instructions were simple, the process was easy to follow, and the results were way better than expected. My headlights were heavily oxidized and yellow, and after using the 2000/3000 grit sanding steps with the ceramic coating, they looked almost brand new again. The ceramic finish made them crystal clear and glossy. Definitely worth the money and much better than cheap polish-only kits.
