Lemorton Réserve Calvados is a beautifully traditional expression from one of the most respected producers in the Domfrontais region of Normandy. The Lemorton family has become known for preserving an old-world approach to Calvados production, working with historic apple and pear orchards, natural fermentations, slow distillation, and long aging in oak casks.

As a Domfrontais Calvados, the spirit includes a significant proportion of pears alongside apples, giving it a more floral and lifted character than many richer, apple-heavy styles. The additional aging in the Réserve bottling brings greater depth and integration while still maintaining remarkable freshness. The nose shows baked pear, roasted apple, honey, dried flowers, vanilla, toasted almond, and gentle spice layered over earthy orchard notes. On the palate, it is supple and nuanced with flavors of caramelized orchard fruit, citrus peel, spice cake, tea leaf, and soft oak carried by bright acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Compared with younger bottlings, Réserve offers more texture and savory complexity while preserving the vibrant fruit character that makes traditional Domfrontais Calvados so distinctive.
