This sale is for a very nice, vintage custom Denon setup! It includes a Denon DP-6000, SAEC WE-308 Long type tonearm, Audio-Technica safety raiser and a heavy duty Resinamic Sound Plinth!
Denon DP‑6000: A high-end direct-drive turntable motor/chassis introduced by Denon in 1976, featuring quartz phase-locked speed control for 33⅓ rpm and 45 rpm, with a die-cast aluminium platter.
SAEC WE‑308 (Long-type) & phono cable: A precision tonearm manufactured by SAEC with a double-knife-edge bearing design, overall length of 329 mm, effective length of 240 mm and overhang of 5 mm — designed for high-fidelity analogue playback.
Resinamic Sound Heavy mass plinth: A bespoke, heavy plinth designed for use with Denon direct-drive units. The plinth is very heavy, important for controlling motor and floor‐borne vibrations.
Audio‑Technica Safety Raiser: A tonearm accessory designed to automatically lift the tonearm at the end of a record, protecting the stylus tip. The Safety Raiser features a highly sensitive release antenna, hydraulic lift with a rubber lift bar.
- This unit has been used.
- This unit has had a major service. It has been tested and all functions are working as they should. This unit has no faults to note and overall is a lovely centrepiece for listening to your favourite records at home.
- The cosmetic condition of this unit is good. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. The WE-308 and AT safety raiser show some surface oxidisation. Nothing major at all. Overall it is a nice turntable.
- This unit will ship with a headshell and vintage Grace F-8 cartridge and stylus. These have been used but a good to get you started. The headshell and cartridge are removable so it is easy to add your own / replace.
- This unit will ship with its original, hinged dust cover. This cover shows some wear which is to be expected, such as marks and scratches. Please see photos.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. A step-down transformer will be included for Australian buyers only.
- If you purchase from outside Australia you may also need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.
- This sale is for the aforementioned items. Nothing else is included in this sale.
