This collection of essays, most of which were originally prepared for a conference sponsored by the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, examines this discussion particularly as it occurred within the ranks of the British and Irish Particular Baptists. Michael A G Haykin serves as Professor of Church History and Biblical Spirituality at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is also the director of The Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies. He has written and edited numerous books. He is married to Alison and they have two children, Victoria and Nigel. Roy M. Paul is executive research assistant at the Canadian office of the Andrew Fuller Center for Baptist Studies.
