Offering protection from heat, fire, and arc flash hazards, these chaps are constructed entirely from fire-resistant materials. The chaps also provide chain saw protection in the front from waist to ankle and feature a calf wrap that protects the back of the leg from knee to ankle. The Nomex®/fire-resistant viscose ripstop outer fabric is rated to 8.2 cal/cm2 according to ASTM F1959 and complies with ASTM D6413 for fire resistance. The Arrestex FR fully fire-resistant chain saw protection material is rated to 3,600 ft/min and is lightweight, cool, and quick drying.

The lower leg features 2˝ FR reflective tape that offers extra visibility and complies with the performance requirements of high visibility standards: ANSI 107:2015; AS/NZS 1906.4:2010. Also features soft FR Lining, a 2˝ wide FR cotton belt with quick-release buckle, five leg straps made of FR cotton, and high-temperature nylon buckles. Adjustable to a 49˝ waist size. UL Certified to ASTM F1897-14 for chain saw protection and meets OSHA regulation 1910-266. Complies with NFPA Code 70E 130.7(11) and ENA NENS 09-2014 for arc protection.
