Di colore giallo paglierino con riflessi dorati, al naso è fine ed intenso, con note di fiori gialli, ginestra, camomilla e frutta gialla matura. In bocca è secco, equilibrato, rotondo, con un finale sapido e fresco."Albarara" è un vino bianco secco a base di albana di Romagna, un vitigno autoctono della zona, prodotto dalla cantina Tenuta Santa Lucia. L'albana viene vinificata in acciaio sui propri lieviti per circa 12 mesi e successivamente altri 6 mesi in bottiglia. È un vino secco piacevole e fresco, espressione sincera della Romagna.
Si abbina ad insalate di mare, risotto ai frutti di mare e secondi di carne bianca.

I got this book for class, so I've only read large segements of it. This copy is an excellent modernization of Malory's text with helpful footnotes and endnotes. The footnotes were always available to explain unfamiliar words without interrupting the flow of the story.

Delightful text, but the omissions are frustrating
Format: Paperback
The modern spellings of the original Middle English text make this book quite easy and fun to read. However if you're trying to follow the actual complete storyline or compare it side-by-side with one of the original full text versions the frequent omissions quickly become quite evident and frustrating as you realize just how abridged this version actually is. That being said, the foot-of-page glossary and explanatory notes are quite helpful and informative. If only they wouldn't have left so much of the text out this would be a five-star review.

Simple and easy to read
Format: Paperback
If you are looking to just understand Le Morte, this is a good book. It's written in modern English, due to the fact the author decided he wanted it to mirror the Winchester manuscript as closely as possible, that is, he wanted it to be written in the most easily accessible language of the time. Therefore, the Oxford edition of Le Morte is less bogged down in old spellings and archaic language as other versions of the text.
