This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your own Hidden Treasures fabric box, as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 8 1/8" x 6 1/2" x 3 5/8". With this DIY kit there is no worries about cutting paper. The chipboard used in this kit is 100 point (0.1 in) thick, extra heavy, so this box will be very sturdy and well finished! Strong magnets are included. Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included. Hardware to support the lid of the box is optional and not included - we sell the chain and the hook connectors in our shop.

For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 yard each), white PVA glue (Glue All - Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissors, paper awl, kraft knife, small piece of ribbon. To add hardware for the lid you will need a small screwdriver (magnetic preferred) and jewelry pliers.

Cartonnage tools (spatula, acrylic spacers, corner tool, corner clips and handy squares) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.
