Her name is Frau Martha Kahler. The cassette is a red and gilt covered pressed hardboard with the commendation letter from the president of the society mounted to the inside front cover. The bi fold document is retained by a red elasticized cord. The letter is written on society letterhead with the signature of the president. Additionally, there is a newspaper clipping, dated 1951, noting 50 years of service! The document has a large gilt eagle on the left side with a signature of the union president featured on the main document. This cassette measures 9“ by 12 ½”. Excellent!
