In 2023, the U.S. Postal Service issues the fourth of 12 stamps in the latest Lunar New Year series. The Year of the Rabbit beginsJanuary 22, 2023 and ends on February 9, 2024.
Utilizing red, pink, and purple as the predominant colors-said to be lucky colors for individuals born during the Year of the Rabbit-the rabbit mask in the stamp art incorporates elements with symbolic meaning. Several of the patterns were created with thestyle of Asian textiles in mind as well as areen flowers that represent the arrival of spring, which Lunar New Year also signals inChinese culture. The crescent shape in the center of the rabbit's head references the lunar calendar on which Lunar New Year isbased and the celestial themes of the Chinese zodiac
The rabbit is the fourth of the 12 zodiac anima sions associated with the Chinese unar calendar, Manv ancient fables and leoendeexplain the origin of the zodiac signs. The most common story tells of the animals racing across a river to determine their order inthe cycle, The rat crossed by riding on the back of the ox, jumping ahead at the ast minute to win the race, Next came the oxthen the tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, and dog, followed by the boar in last place.As with other zodiac signs, personality traits and other attributes are often associated with people born in the year of a particularanimal. What a great watch! There are so many choices out there (even when you filter out a large portion of those you are clearly not interested in :-). Know what you like, use discipline with your cash, be logical, but then even after all that, you will eventually just have to let the right brain kick in and choose based on creativity and intuition. I needed a watch, and wanted a decent one, that looked good. This does all of that in style.
It's not too big, its fairly waterproof, easy to read with clean lines. I wanted lume...
The textured face has an interesting effect, like looking out a window at late dusk.
Don't buy too many things, but when you do be wise. Even the Dalai Lama likes good watches.

This is a fantastic watch!

This is a fantastic watch! I have about a 6.25 inch wrist and the 42mm version fits perfectly. I had actually purchased the 38mm version and had to return in because it was too small. The dial is amazing and the beauty of the watch is its simplicity. Its face is uncluttered but has the main features that I need, time, day and date. Plus, the automatic movement is quite accurate and smooth. Overall, I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a clear and uncluttered watch that is very easy to read!
