With such a potential powerplant, the 2.9 L V6 hides a truly incredible set of vocals behind the heavy and restrictive factory exhaust equipment. With the Valvetronic Designs full exhaust system, we ensure this incredible powerplant sings all the way up to the redline. Traditionally, in the audi exhaust market, there are many different pieces of the exhaust that you have to purchase from different vendors. We have gone around this and engineered a full exhaust system that connects to the OEM downpipes or aftermarket downpipes and runs all the way back to a set of beautiful exhaust tips. The reason for this is stems from our ethos for developing exhaust systems for the audi platforms and beyond is to engineer and deliver the best sound experience with a single exhaust solution. Gone of the days where you need to combine your catback system with resonator pipes from a separate vendor. This system is your one stop solution to have unparalleled sound, and no compromises when the valves are open, the car has a very aggressive sound and tons of aggressive overrun when off throttle. With the valves closed. The car goes back to sounding like it's bone stock.

If you are jumping into the Audi B9 platform having come from a B7 RS4 with a lovely 4.2 L V8 you will short changed with the sound experience from factory, but with the Valvetronic Designs full exhaust system installed, your experience will be heightened to previous levels of enjoyment of this naturally aspirated experience. There is no displacement for displacement ultimately, but with this exhaust system, you will not feel short changed with your Audi B9 sound experience. At Valvetronic Designs we do not compromise. We recommend that you do not either when it comes to choosing the best exhaust for your RS5!

Valve delete kits are recommended for this platform to stop factory valves from activating after new kit is installed.

A step up, but still room for improvement

Yikes, the *shilling* on the reviews for this thing! Yes, it's a chair. There are a lot of mesh-backed office chairs for sale here. None of them are likely to change your life. I can say this chair is a step up in quality from the few others I've purchased online in the past. All hardware below the seat cushion is heavy steel; you won't be breaking this stuff in the near future--and it's a nice change from the almost-entirely-plastic offerings I see elsewhere. The provided hardware was packaged intelligently: it's all screws (and not too many of them) with various lengths, but they all have the same size hex-head and the package includes a nice matching T-bar to install them; moreover, if you follow the instructions it's basically "use the screws labelled Step 1 now" then "use the screws labelled Step 2 now"--hard to get wrong. The best part of the chair is the lumbar support. It's why I selected this particular variant, and it was a good choice: it's firm and adjustable and makes a difference. The back is comfortable, and the general motion of the chair (rocking, locking, up/down, swivel, roll) is exactly as you'd expect. I don't like arms on my chairs: when they're down I rest my elbows there but they're always too high so it bothers my shoulders eventually, and when they're up my elbows bump into them. So I usually remove the arms entirely during assembly--and in this chair that wasn't too hard, but it does leave some slightly unsightly connection points hanging free. That's not a mark against the chair itself--just letting you know; at worst I could point out that this chair's arm movement is maybe a little more limited than usual. The worst thing about this chair, though, is the cushion. I got the leatherette seat, because it's supposed to be comfortable and easy to clean. In practice it's *not* comfortable at all: it's soft enough, sure, but it's also *very* hot and makes me squirm repeatedly to try to improve my comfort the longer I sit here. I suggest getting the mesh-bottom version, if you're going to get this model.

Nice-ish chair but not what I expected.

Nice chair basically, good looking, and assembly went well, the wheels roll very nicely, lumbar support is good too, with comfy seat back. However, the "seat cushion" design itself is very odd, because the seat cushion is much thicker at the rear than it is at the front, thus you're constantly slipping off forward, always needing repeatedly to lift up and get back on the seat up further where you belong; while the seat tilt adjustments are of no help with this problem, no matter what setting you will be slipping off forward. The lever for adjusting reclining ability is very cumbersome and awkward to use. The arm rests are ok, comfy, but lack the ability to raise or lower, all you can do if flip it up totally out of your way. I wish I could return and exchange this chair for something better but there is no way this could easily be disassembled and returned in the box that is long since gone. This came in a box really super efficiently and very tightly packed, give them credit and kudos for the great packing design. Maybe, hopefully, the manufacturer has some suggestions for replacement when they see this review.
