The Proteus 2000 is a reincarnation of the economic Proteus rack module series of the early nineties. While its synthesis architecture is virtually the same as the original Proteus, the Proteus 2000 is packed with major new features, sounds and expandability for the most demanding professionals!
It features 128-voice polyphony and 32 MIDI channels allowing it to handle even your most complex MIDI sequences. It ships with a whopping 32 MB of sample ROM memory which is expandable up to 128 MB using four internal ROM slots! The sounds cover the whole spectrum of synthesiser type sounds, from real instruments to bizarre sounds and effects. (Vintage Synth Explorer)

- This E-mu has been tested. Everything is working as it should and it sounds great!
- The cosmetic condition of this unit is good. It shows some small signs of use and age like some marks, nicks and scratches. Mostly on the top and bottom of the unit. Overall nothing major. Please see all photos.
- Sadly this unit did not come to us with any rack ears.
- This unit contains the standard Proteus 2000 Composer ROM. It has three more spaces for expansions. (No expansions included)
- This unit is 100-240V. This means it is worldwide compatible. This unit requires a standard IEC cable to power on. This cable is not included.
