R3S supports key streaming services including Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, and Deezer, plus every other service via its Bluetooth 5 receiver. With improved sound quality and efficient connectivity, the Bluetooth function also seamlessly integrates with the volume control on phones and tablets – so when the volume is adjusted, it also changes on R3S.

Radio is evolving, and with its Internet/DAB/DAB+/FM SmartRadio tuner, R3S will maximise your enjoyment of this timeless medium. R3S also features a dedicated podcast source, easily browsed using the RotoDial controller, IR remote, or free Oktiv app for iOS and Android – perfect for discovering new stations and shows.

CD playback and more

In our opinion, CDs still provide outstanding sound quality and allow customers to rediscover the joy of browsing cover art and liner notes. Alongside standard CDs, R3S also supports homemade discs encoded with WAV and MP3 files, and will display track and artist data if this information is available on the disc.

Connections on the rear include a USB-C playback and charge port, a headphone output, and switchable analogue and digital inputs - allowing easy connection of a turntable or TV. For extra bass extension, the line outputs can be switched for connection to an active subwoofer. Our own RS1 subwoofer is a perfect match for R3S, adding an extra level of dynamic realism to its already impressive sound.
