High-dose melatonin with targeted nighttime recovery support

Magnum G-Spring isn't your average sleep pill. It's a focused nighttime recovery blend aimed at three big wins: getting you to sleep, easing your nerves, and setting up sleep that boosts recovery hormones. The label shows it clear—solid melatonin for starting sleep, theanine and bacopa for quieting your mind, plus arginine-plus-lysine as the base with mucuna and puerarin for more depth than your typical melatonin supp.

The star is melatonin at 10mg. It hooks onto MT1 and MT2 receptors in your brain's sleep center to sync your body's clock and cut down how long it takes to nod off. Studies back melatonin for falling asleep faster, but most use way less—like 300mcg to 5mg. So 10mg is a hefty dose. You'll likely feel it hit hard for that 'lights out' vibe, but it's not for beginners; some might feel groggy next morning if sleep gets cut short.

L-theanine comes in at 50mg. It tweaks glutamate signals, boosts alpha waves, and helps with GABA, dopamine, and serotonin levels. Research usually goes 100-400mg, so 50mg is on the low side. Think of it as a helper here, smoothing out the melatonin rather than running the show.

Bacopa monnieri 30:1 extract at 110mg, with 50% bacosides A and B, is a cool addition. Bacopa's known for handling stress, sharpening memory, and supporting your nerves. This strong extract packs real bacosides even in a small dose, which could help dial down a buzzing mind with regular use.

Magnum G-Spring by Magnum Nutraceuticals contains 12.5mcg Vitamin D3, a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 10mg melatonin leads the pack with a solid dose for kicking off sleep. It targets MT1 and MT2 receptors that control your body's clock, so you'll notice falling asleep quicker when training or life keeps you amped up at night.
  • Fully open label—no hidden blends. In a world of sketchy nighttime and GH supps, Magnum lays it all out per 2-capsule serving, so you can check doses yourself and decide if it's worth it.
  • 500mg L-arginine pyroglutamate plus 500mg L-lysine form a tried-and-true amino base for recovery. This combo's been around in hormone-focused night formulas, and lysine adds its own help with stress and brain chem balance.
  • 150mg mucuna pruriens extract brings a dopamine boost that most sleep pills skip. It gives G-Spring a unique edge over plain melatonin, great for folks chasing full nighttime recovery and hormone support.
  • 110mg bacopa monnieri 30:1 standardized to 50% bacosides packs a punch in a small space. Bacopa shines for stress busting, brain support, and taming the mental buzz that ruins sleep.
  • 50mg L-theanine helps you relax by tweaking glutamate and ramping up alpha waves. It's under the usual study doses, but it fits as a sidekick to melatonin for an easier wind-down.
  • 50mg puerarin from kudzu root is a standout that sets this apart from basic sleep stuff. It's got some buzz in research for hormone signals and reward paths, matching the formula's recovery vibe.
  • 12.5mcg vitamin D3 throws in basic hormone backup without stealing the show. Not a huge dose, but it rounds out the recovery angle beyond just herbs and aminos.

Magnum G-Spring by Magnum Nutraceuticals contains 12.5mcg Vitamin D3, a effective dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Who Is This For?

  • Evening gym rats who go hard after work and can't unwind at home. 10mg melatonin pushes sleep hard, theanine and bacopa fight that wired-tired vibe from late lifts.
  • Strength folks in big volume phases who get that gains come post-workout. G-Spring offers more than melatonin with arginine pyroglutamate, lysine, mucuna, and puerarin for recovery hormone vibes.
  • Shift workers or irregular sleepers keeping up training. Melatonin's clock reset is key, and capsules make dosing easy no matter the hour.
  • Dieting bodybuilders whose sleep tanks with low cals and high stress. Bacopa, theanine, and melatonin build recovery sleep without daytime stim overload.
  • Athletes with pre and intra dialed but recovery lacking. This capsule targets night shutdown for folks needing dedicated sleep support.
  • Stressed pros who train serious but mental buzz kills sleep. Bacopa and theanine calm things, melatonin handles direct crash.

How to Use

Take 2 capsules with water 30-60 minutes before bed. Time it right so melatonin hits when you're ready to sleep, not while active under lights. If sleep aids hit you hard, try 1 capsule first—the full hit has 10mg melatonin, more than most studies use.

Go empty stomach or after light food for clean kick-in. Heavy late eats can slow things and mess with sleep shift. Don't mix with other melatonin stuff till you know your tolerance. Pairs good with magnesium glycinate or non-melatonin recovery aids for extra chill, but watch combos with sedatives, booze, or meds affecting sleep or dopamine. Fine for daily during tough training, travel, or sleep slumps, though some cycle it since melatonin's robust. Keep in cool, dry spot and stick to bedtime habits for top results.

What to Expect

First 0-20 minutes: not much feel besides deciding to call it a night. Capsules without stims keep it low-key early on. 20-45 minutes: melatonin starts showing as you get less alert, especially in dim light without screens. Theanine and bacopa won't wow you right away at these doses, but they help ease into bed.

45-90 minutes: prime time for falling asleep where it shines. Days 1-7: melatonin drives the quick sleep start, and you'll figure fast if 10mg suits you or feels heavy. Weeks 2-4: judge it on steady bedtimes, smoother pre-sleep, and feeling recovered over workouts—not just one big knockout. Bacopa especially builds with consistent use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Magnum G-Spring designed to do?

G-Spring is a nighttime recovery formula designed to help you fall asleep more easily and support a calmer pre-bed transition. The formula is centered on 10mg melatonin, with additional support from L-theanine, bacopa monnieri, arginine pyroglutamate, lysine, mucuna pruriens, puerarin, deanol, and vitamin D3.

How much melatonin is in Magnum G-Spring?

Each 2-capsule serving provides 10mg melatonin. That is a high dose relative to the common research range of roughly 300mcg to 5mg, so users who are sensitive to melatonin should consider starting with 1 capsule to assess tolerance.

When should I take G-Spring?

Take it 30-60 minutes before your intended bedtime with water. That window gives melatonin time to begin shifting you toward sleep as you dim lights, put screens away, and get into your bedtime routine.

Can I use Magnum G-Spring every night?

It can be used nightly when sleep support is needed, especially during stressful training blocks, travel, or disrupted schedules. Because the melatonin dose is strong, some users prefer to use it strategically rather than automatically every night.

Will G-Spring make me groggy the next morning?

It can, especially if you are sensitive to melatonin, take it too late, or do not allow enough time for a full night of sleep. The 10mg melatonin dose is above the typical studied range, which is part of why many users find it strong.

Why are arginine pyroglutamate and lysine in a nighttime formula?

This pairing has a long history in nighttime and recovery-oriented formulas aimed at supporting the body’s overnight recovery environment. Lysine also has its own relevance to stress modulation, while arginine contributes to nitric oxide and broader amino-based recovery support.

Is the theanine dose high enough to work?

G-Spring provides 50mg L-theanine, which is below the common standalone research range of 100-400mg. In this formula, theanine is better viewed as a supporting ingredient that helps smooth the overall experience rather than acting as the primary driver.

What makes G-Spring different from plain melatonin?

Plain melatonin products focus almost entirely on sleep onset. G-Spring adds bacopa, arginine pyroglutamate, lysine, mucuna pruriens, puerarin, deanol, and vitamin D3, creating a more specialized nighttime recovery profile aimed at athletes and performance-minded users.

Can I stack G-Spring with magnesium?

Yes, many users pair it with magnesium glycinate or another non-melatonin relaxation product for broader bedtime support. Just avoid doubling up on additional melatonin until you know exactly how the 10mg serving affects you.

Does Magnum G-Spring contain caffeine or stimulants?

No caffeine is listed, and the formula is functionally stim-free. It is designed for nighttime use, so its purpose is the opposite of a pre-workout: to help you wind down and protect recovery.

Best Dog Toy Ever!
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey, Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey
Unbelievable. See below previous reviews. Today is 3/22/2023 (4th Update): Cavachon is now three years old. THIS MONKEY is STILL played with DAILY. She’s played with and lost interest in dozens of other toys in the past three years, but Monkey is always the go-to. Now only on Monkey #6, which is remarkable considering the daily torture she puts Monkey through. Other toys get destroyed, but Monkey endures. This toy is our dog’s best friend and playmate! 10/9/21 (3rd update): Its rare that any toy (without food inside) keeps the interest of our Cavachon for even 30 minutes… yet day after day, she runs around with Monkey for at least an hour. She’s on her 4th Monkey… and this thing gets mauled, chewed, super-squeaked, fetched, and shook violently EVERY DAY. Durability times ten! 2/21/21 (2nd Update): Crazy pup is now 14 months old, and she plays DAILY with “monkey”! She’s on her third monkey because eventually she pulls off the tail, but each of her first two lasted months. ORIGINAL REVIEW MAY 2020: There is something really special about this monkey... Our 5-month-old Cavachon LOVES this toy. I recently ordered a second one, in case she wears out the first one. She knows it’s her “monkey” and finds it when we ask her “Where’s monkey?” She fetches it, walks around squeaking it, and she also zooms around the house shaking it furiously by the tail. She’s been playing with, and chewing on all parts of It, DAILY for three months. In the photo, you can compare the brand-new one, still on the cardboard, with the one she’s mauled for three months. Not much difference. I would say this is an extremely durable, and safe, toy.

Nice design, pay attention to the size specification
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey
Nice toy with minimal appendages - meaning that body parts are not quickly chewed off. I made the mistake of getting this one along with one for the Large dog. This monkey is intended to be a small dog toy and as soon as I felt it, I knew my English Shepherd of 8 months would probably have it torn up within a day or two. I really like the design - no ropes or braids or legs, no small pieces for the eyes, etc. The monkey does have a small curly-Q tail but so far it's stayed attached to the monkey. It's durability has surprised me so far. For years I have had a Jack Russell terrier, which I think might be considered a small/medium dog (at least mine was). This toy would have lasted him weeks or even months, he didn't set out to eat his toys. Now I have an English Shepherd and I forget that she's probably considered a large dog. She rarely chews up anything EXCEPT her toys, but when she gets a new toy, she spends hours "getting to know it" and she's got pretty sharp teeth. The fabric on this toy is durable, not easily torn. Because there is no stuffing the squeaker is easy for the dog to squeak - and if your dog hasn't had squeaky toys before, that might freak them out just a little, it did my dog, she started off apprehensive of the toy but quickly grew to enjoy it. Because this toy is hollow and not dense, my dog doesn't chew on it the same way as she did her rope-style toy, and therefore this toy has lasted longer than the KONG Pudge Braidz Pig Dog Toy, Medium/Large toy (which lasted about 10 minutes). Someone else here posted some good pictures of their larger sized dog with this toy, and that dog looks to be about the same size as mine. That person stated the toy didn't last long and showed pictures of how it looked after being dismantled. I expect that to happen to this one since that dog's size is similar to mine, although it's lasted so far more than a day. I guess it partially depends on not just the toy but the dog, too. Because there's no density to this toy, my dog doesn't seem to want to chew it like she does a bone, instead she tosses and wrestles it, occasionally making it squeak, then lies down next to it and takes a nap. All in all, this is so far, my favorite dog toy brand. It's less dangerous than the Kong toys or the Nylabone toys, and especially less dangerous than the rope style toys. I purchased several other Petstages toys and so far, they have lasted longer than any other brand, including those named. I just should have been more attentive to the recommended dog size, as this toy is clearly not ideal for large dogs. The Petstages Gator toy is better for a large dog. I have also purchased that one and find it much more suitable.

Could be made much stronger & better
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey
Only 3 stars because the long fur is nasty and dogs chew it and it comes off … choking hazard. I trim it when I get them. The fabric is to easily tear doednt last long they should make this much stronger. I’ve bought 4 of these and about to buy 2 more my dogs love them.
