Expand Your Victron Energy System Capabilities

The Victron VE.Direct to USB Interface Cable is an essential tool for managing and expanding your off-grid power setup. Designed to bridge the gap between VE.Direct-compatible devices and USB-enabled equipment, this 1.8-metre cable ensures a seamless flow of data. Whether you need to connect a BMV battery monitor, an MPPT solar charge controller, or a Phoenix inverter to your computer or system controller, this cable provides a highly reliable, hardwired connection.

Seamless GX Device Expansion

Advanced system monitoring often requires connecting multiple components to a central hub like the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX. However, these monitoring hubs have a limited number of native VE.Direct ports. By using the VE.Direct to USB cable, you can easily bypass this limitation. Simply plug the VE.Direct end into your solar controller or shunt, and connect the standard USB-A plug into an available USB port on your GX device. This plug-and-play method allows you to significantly expand your system, accommodating complex configurations with multiple power sources and monitors without needing a complex interface hub.

Computer Connectivity and Firmware Updates

For users who prefer a direct connection to a computer, this interface module is the perfect solution. By connecting your Victron hardware directly to a PC or Mac running the VictronConnect app, you gain comprehensive access to real-time performance data, historical trends, and deep system configurations. A hardwired VE.Direct USB cable ensures a highly stable connection, completely bypassing potential wireless interference issues. This makes it the most secure method for performing critical firmware updates or diagnosing system performance in challenging marine or caravan environments.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Plug-and-play compatibility: Requires no additional drivers for modern operating systems, ensuring a rapid, hassle-free installation.
  • GX series expansion: Connect additional VE.Direct devices to Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX units via their USB ports.
  • Inline electronic module: Safely houses the data conversion hardware required to translate VE.Direct communication into standard USB protocols.
  • Optimal 1.8m length: Provides ample reach for routing behind bulkheads or inside tight electrical cabinets without creating excessive cable clutter.
  • Standard USB-A connector: Widely compatible with computers, laptops, and Victron GX devices.

Robust Design for Demanding Environments

Reliability is critical when building an off-grid energy system. The durable, black insulated 1.8m cable protects the internal data lines from physical wear and electrical noise. The 4-pin connector is precisely engineered to lock securely into your Victron VE.Direct ports, preventing accidental disconnections in mobile applications like RVs, camper trailers, and boats.

Optimise Your Power Management

Ensure you have full control and visibility over your energy system. Add the Victron VE.Direct to USB interface cable to your toolkit today to streamline firmware updates and unlock the full potential of your GX monitoring setup.

Fun if a bit offbeat upper elementary fantasy
Format: Hardcover
I read this in one afternoon and have to say I enjoyed it. The cast of characters are incredibly diverse, and for the most part this is a believable story (despite the undead magicians and ridiculous outhouse) This story is a "Hatfields vs McCoys" if the two hillbilly families were magicians and were feuding over how they practice instead of over moonshine and land. This brings me to my first gripe with the novel. The dense dialogue in accents. For a middle grade book, the text is filled with a lot of phonetic spellings and backwards english. I guess it is to be atmospheric, but it just makes the characters seem dumb. And that is sad because they are not. Stubborn, and sometimes too preoccupied to see what is under their noses but not stupid. I sometimes felt that the characters had been written into a corner so there were multiple instances of "because magic" and convenient acts of random fortuitous "we have everything we need and don't have to search more because the Luck Gods were smiling". Once or twice I completely missed how the characters got from point A to point B and I Really dislike "wave a wand and everything is good and the mortals forget what happened". A little convenient magic written to solve a solution is fine. But the ending sort of feels a little flat when a Major concern for the entire novel is resolved by sleight of hand. On the whole though, the characters are likable, and age appropriate (though a bit whiny at times for this parent ;-p) and I liked that diversity isn't a "cause" its just an adjective...As in, there is a gay couple who act like every other parent in the story. There is a deaf younger brother who isn't treated as 'precious' but as a functioning human. Even one of the main characters is intersex and does question "Am I girl enough to be a witch". None of the cast of characters feels forced or out of place making this a nice addition to my kid's library. ARC free in exchange for an honest review.

As parents, we absolutely love the author’s books, and this one—Construction Site: A Thankful Night—is no exception! The lift-the-flap feature keeps our kids engaged, and they love discovering the surprises hidden inside. The story is perfect for Thanksgiving, teaching kids about gratitude in a fun and interactive way. The colorful illustrations and familiar construction site characters make it even more enjoyable for our little ones. We’re huge fans of this series, and our kids can’t get enough! Highly recommend for young readers!
