Whey is het deel van melk dat vloeibaar blijft na het toevoegen van stremsel. Whey-eiwit is erg populair als supplement, doordat deze een goede biologische beschikbaarheid en een compleet aminozuurprofiel heeft. Wheyproteïne wordt vaak gebruikt door (kracht-)sporters, omdat eiwitten een snel herstel na een zware training ondersteunen.

Onze whey wordt gemaakt van de melk van grasgevoerde koeien. Deze koeien staan zo lang de weersomstandigheden het toelaten, 24 uur per dag in de open lucht in de Franse Alpen te grazen.

De whey ondergaat geen hittebehandeling, waardoor de voedingsstoffen en eiwitstructuren intact blijven. Om de zuiverheid te garanderen ondergaat de whey een micro- en ultrafiltratieproces door membranen bij lage temperatuur. Bij dit proces worden geen chemicaliën gebruikt.

Extra eiwit voor sporters en andere doelgroepen

Per maatschep levert whey maar liefst ongeveer 23,1 gram eiwit. Het gebruik van wheyproteïne (wei-eiwit) is daarom een makkelijke manier om extra eiwitten in te nemen. Whey kan ook door niet-sporters worden gebruikt om het eiwitgehalte van een maaltijd te verhogen. Bijvoorbeeld door vegetariërs of tijdens een energiebeperkt voedingspatroon.

I like Serenity, you can tell just by the first scene that she was a fighter. She had to save her own life. Once she did save her own life she gets hit by a car. So then Pack Rhodes saves her life, I mean what do you do with a unconscious abused omega that you may or may not have hit with your car. Take her home of course. Loved this book and cant wait for the next one
