If you're looking for reliability out of a mild performance transmission for the 2007.5-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins, SunCoast offers an effective solution to bolster your drivetrain with their Category 2 500HP capable transmission. With an approach centered in science and study, SunCoast's Category 2 Transmissions have been built with heavy towing and street driving in mind. Give yourself a little room for an increase in performance and reach for the sun.

The Category Transmissions

The SunCoast Category 68RFE transmissions are designed and developed with the intention of taking a systematic approach to solving the issues with the 68RFE transmission.  SunCoast approachs each deficiency and need from a scientific approach. They aim to offer the most complete series of 68RFE transmissions available on the market today.

The V2 Drum

The SunCoast V2 68RFE Billet Drum is the most revolutionary thing that has happened for the 68RFE. SunCoast have touted that no other project they've worked on has had as much research and development invested. This drum has many features that have been improved over previous iterations as well. There is a 24% improvement in hydraulic clamping force over the factory drum and increased friction elements in overdrive, and all centrifugal supply springs were removed. SunCoast's V2 billet drum was redesigned with a new lip seal style for the outer seal by increasing the diameter of the outer sealing surface. The quad-ring design of the inner drum o-ring maintains compression during high RPMs and has consistent factory-like CVIs. The drum’s wall thickness was also increased to improve drum rigidity and to reduce lateral movement in the overdrive supply plate. This V2 billet drum is a completely assembled drop-in replacement for 68RFE vehicles. In the Category 2 Transmission however, it's already installed and ready to get to work.

The 2C Piston

The factory molded piston is prone to unevenly engage which leads to excessive heat in the clutches and steels causing burning and premature failure. In SunCoasts 68RFE transmission rebuild kit, they replace the factory piston with an improved billet piece that also allows space for an additional clutch further increasing surface application area. The new Category Series 68RFE transmissions are designed with the builder in mind, with options available for mild to extreme duty uses.

The Ducenti

SunCoast is proudly equipping their Pro-Loc Ducenti 200psi Shift Calibration Kit in the 68RFE. SunCoast has spent many years refining a valve body solution. In this valve body, SunCoast addresses several key issues within this hydraulic circuit using a multi-faceted approach through research and refinement. This kit includes everything you will need to achieve 200psi without any additional tuning and is designed to be a complete drop-in unit. Features and benefits of this shift calibration kit include a new pump half, TCC limit valve, TCC switch valve, five billet three-ring accumulator pistons, billet upgraded valve body plate, an upgraded heavy duty accumulator plate, and custom-calibrated spring rates for PR circuit. Giving you the best possible shifting performance.

The Solenoid Pack

Every new Suncoast transmission receives a new OEM solenoid back from Mopar.

Zero Cavitation Filter Kit

The factory 68RFE has had several issues with the pressure relief check valve system in the transmission pan filters. Initially, the 68RFE had issues with the plastic filter splitting in half. This was later remedied with a pressure relief valve on top of the filter. This later showed to also lead to failures as the valve would release itself from the filter all together. SunCoasts bottom feeder filter kit allows the usage of a torqueflite filter, and this conversion will not only prevent pump cavitation, but will also allow a higher volume of fluid to be passed through the system. Helping keep fluid temps down, improve performance and longevity. This will come with a specially machined Mag-Hytec pan.

The Torque Converter

This Category 1 SunCoast Torque Converter fits 68RFE transmissions and is engineered to handle your everyday duties. Whether you're towing a camper or hauling dirt to a job site, this torque converter is designed to improve vehicle response and to give you years of reliable performance. It comes with furnace-brazed fins and hardened turbine splines. The clutches in this converter are carbon-graphitic for precise and accurate lock-up. If you are looking for increased performance over the factory unit and looking for a cost-effective solution this is the converter for you.

This converter, while great for heavy duty towing and hauling, it is not intended for racing.

Angels and the Fallen — Breathtaking Start
Format: Kindle
This book was EVERYTHING I expected it to be and more. Leave to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair to give us yet another amazing book! Kieran and her guys hooked me from the very beginning and did not let go. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and it was done so well in this book. Couple that along with an FMC trying to find her place in the world and I was practically drooling over this book. The world building, the conflict, the wyverin sidekick — it all was done so well that it felt fresh and real. Each love interest felt real and unique in their own ways. I felt connected to each one and like they were truly different people. I love that so much in a book and these two authors never miss with their love interests. Multi POV, Reverse harem, who did this to you, and a magical world highlighting the angels and the fallen. This book has everything and it does it so well. Big thank you to R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair for the arc copy! I cannot wait for book 2!

A new take 🤔
Format: Kindle
I’m not going to go into what this book is about — by now you e already read the synopsis and have an idea — but I will give a couple of insights. Definitely a different take on angels and their fall; I like it. This is an interesting start to a new series - YES, this does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I’m eager for the next book (and hopefully the last in this series — sometimes the author(s) will switch it up depending on how the story flows for them) in this series. I’m hoping that a certain male character redeems himself because he’s a dick that will make the meaning of mixed signals jealous lol. You ever watch that old movie — I think it’s call Mommy Dearest? — yea, let’s switch that up to daddy. That man would make a perfect husband to mommy dearest. I recommend this book because while these authors are well known for their cliffhangers, they are also well known for putting out good stories.

Liked it
Format: Kindle
I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."
