Rosso rubino carico. Al naso si susseguono profumi di rosa, note fruttate di piccoli frutti rossi e di arancia tarocco, tocchi speziati; al sorso si rivela ricco, succoso, equilbrato, di lunga persistenza.

Il Chianti Classico Riserva Vigneto Branca dell'azienda vinicola Cigliano di Sopra è ottenuto con uve sangiovese e canaiolo provenienti dall'omonimo vigneto, caratterizzato da un suolo sabbioso e ricco di argilla, calcare e ciottoli. Le uve sono raccolte a mano e vinificate a grappolo intero in vasche di acciaio inox; successivamente il vino viene trasferito in botti di rovere, dove affina per circa 18 mesi. Prima di essere commercializzato, il Chianti Classico Riserva riposa per un anno in cantina. Non viene filtrato.

Si abbina con antipasti e primi di carne, con arrosti e carni in umido.
