Vago Madre Cuishe Jarquin is een mezcal geproduceerd door mezcalero Emigdio Jarquin Ramirez in Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. Gemaakt van de Madrecuixe agave, deze plant behoort tot de Karwinskii familie. Vervolgens wordt de Madrecuixe vermalen door Tahona (grote stenen wiel) en gedistilleerd in koperen refrescador-ketels.

Deze mezcal heeft een complexe smaakprofiel met fruitige aroma’s van framboos, zoutige tonen van Parmezaan en een pittige afdronk van rook en peper.

Mezcal Vago werd opgericht door Judah Kuper en Aquilino Garcia. Al hun mezcals worden op een natuurlijke en traditionele wijze geproduceerd. Ze streven er naar om de kunst in de ambacht van de mezcaleros te versterken. Zo zijn ze in 2017 begonnen met het gebruiken van verschillende kleur labels voor elke mezcalero. Emigdio Jarquin (blauw label) distilleert in koper met Refrescador. Aquilino en Joel Barriga (bruine en gouden label) destilleren in koper. Tio Rey (rood label) destilleert in kleipotten.

Finally! An SPF Hubby will wear!

I've bought my husband at least a dozen SPFs--everything from drugstore to premium brands--and he won't wear any of them. He's 64 years old with oily, extremely sensitive skin (rosacea and dermatitis), and a tendency to sweat a lot in the summer heat, as he's very active.
