De juiste temperatuur is zeer belangrijk voor reptielen. Veel reptielen komen uit gebieden met andere leefomstandigheden dan bij ons, veelal waar het warmer is dan hier. Reptielen zijn ecotherm, wat betekent dat ze niet zelf hun lichaamstemperatuur op peil kunnen houden: daarom is voor bijna alle reptielen belangrijk bij te verwarmen in het terrarium. Met deze lampen van Trixie kun je gemakkelijk een zogenaamde 'hotspot' creëren: dit is de plek in het terrarium waar het het warmste is en waar jouw dier graag zal zonnebaden. Deze lamp verwarmt door een combinatie van infrarode straling en UVA-straling. De infrarode straling ondersteunt warmteregulatie en spijsvertering en UVA stimuleert natuurlijk gedrag en eetlust. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een correcte omgevingstemperatuur in het terrarium. De nyodymium in de lamp zorgt voor een natuurlijke lichtkleur en een natuurgetrouwere weergave van de dieren en planten in het terrarium.

Daughter loved her gift…

The throw came in a box; it was very heavy. I did not open the box. I wrapped it instead. It was fluffy, and beautiful! My daughter loved it, it was one of the gifts she really wanted for Christmas. It is a great throw for a couch, and I’ve been told it’s warm, comfortable, and nicely made. The value for the price was also excellent. It’s beautiful; anyone would be happy to showcase this in their living room, and of course it’s highly functional - daughter says that it is so snuggly, warm, and the size is perfect!

Lovely Throw, But Falls Short of Luxurious
I really like this two-sided throw, with its plush fur-like material on one side and silky velveteen on the other. The texture is warm and silky, and the color complements my sofa beautifully. However, while it’s a nice blanket, it doesn’t quite measure up to the same size throw I bought a month ago from a local German “here today, gone tomorrow” store. That European snuggle bundle, priced at a single Benjamin, has my entire family stealing it from one another.
This throw could benefit from being a bit heavier, with a loftier fur side and thicker velvet to feel more luxurious—especially at twice the cost of the blanket we all love. ( black Friday/cyber Monday dropped it eight dollars) Without any discounts, the price feels inflated for what it is. It’s still a lovely addition to my home, but it falls short of five stars even at the discount price on the day of this review.
