Knipser Cuvee X is een haast legendarische wijn van Weingut Knipser, een wijnhuis wat al in 1876 het levenslicht zag. De eerste 75 jaar stelde het wijnhuis niet veel voor. Er werd wat wijn geproduceerd, maar niet op commerciële basis. Het was Heinz Knipser die in 1948 begon met het professioneel bottelen van flessen in de regio Pfalz. Vanaf de jaren 80, toen zijn zoon Werner het wijnhuis overnam, floreerde het wijnhuis. Vandaag de dag behoort zij tot de top van Duitsland, mede dankzij deze prachtige Knipser Cuvee XDe wijngaarden van Knipser Cuvee X
Wijnhuis Knipser heeft naar verloop van vele jaren maar liefst 75 hectare aan wijngaarden weten te vergaren in het gebied rondom Laumersheim. Zij heeft vele hectare aangeplant met lokale variëteiten, maar tegenwoordig hebben ook veel internationale rassen een belangrijke plaats in het assortiment van Weingut Knipser. Knipser was de eerste toen zij in 1989 op grote schaal internationale rassen ging aanplanten. Zo is deze Knipser Cuvee X een prachtige blend van drie internationale toppers: Zo hebben de Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon en de Merlot een gelijkwaardig aandeel in deze rode wijn. Het is een Medoc stijl wijn, maar wel me de Duitse finesse. Een prachtig samenspel kunnen wij wel stellen.Waarom Knipser Cuvee X kopen?
Wat de Mona Lisa voor het Louvre is, is Knipser Cuvee X voor de Duitse wijnbouw. Het is een waar samenspel, waar de wijnmaker nog steeds voor geëerd wordt. Het is een kroonjuweel afkomstig uit de kelders van Weingut Knipser. De geur en de smaak maken je spontaan verliefd. Steek je neus in het glas, en je begint meteen te dagdromen, zo enorm lekker. Je ruikt zware tonen van ceder, leder en tabak. Dit komt hoofdzakelijk door de houtlagering van 18 tot 20 maanden. Knipser Cuvee X is een wijn met karakter en body. De smaak geeft je een kruidig karakter maar ook nuances van koffie, cassis en ceder spelen met je smaakpapillen. It was worth every cent

I have BPPV. It's a condition where tiny ear crystals come out of place and move within your ear canals - this fools your brain into thinking you're in motion, causing severe dizziness. The most common treatment is the Epley Maneuver, and that actually helps a lot. However, I was going through a period where every single day I'd wake up with severe dizziness. Even if I managed to do the Epley Maneuver and it worked, the entire rest of the day would be ruined because I'd still feel generally unwell and nauseous. I ended up getting a book about BPPV and the author strongly recommended sleeping at at least a 30 degree angle. So, that's why I ended up buying this wedge pillow...
I started using it April 26 and today is May 17. Since I began using it as a pillow, I have not woke up dizzy again. That is so huge! It may be that sleeping at a 30 degree angle deserves 5 Stars but thought I'd give this pillow 5 Stars too, as it's been a great experience. If you suffer from this, here's how the angle should be...If you lay your head on a pillow and open your eyes, you should not be looking at the ceiling. With the right angle, you should be looking at where the wall meets the ceiling. If so, you know you're at the right angle.
As far as pillow itself, I'd say the pillow case fabric is of average quality. Not really remarkable in any way. It seems decent. Good value for the price. The inside is firm (which is just what I needed) but comfortable, and I tend to not move around much the entire night. I like this very much and if it does start wearing out, I'll definitely come back here and buy another. Would recommend.

A bit too firm but great otherwise

I got this wedge pillow primarily to have something to lean my head against (I like to lay on my side when reading or looking at my phone at night sometimes), or to sit upright when reading in bed. It's very comfortable doing both now. It does a really good job at being a nice support for the back of my bed. Only negative is I feel it's too firm. I wouldn't use it as a primary pillow, but it's definitely good for back support at least.
While I won't mark it down for this, I do find it very large. If you have anything smaller then a queen it may take up more of your bed then you'd like.
Definitely recommend. Hopefully will last quite a long while as well.

So helpful after surgery.

Perfect support while recording from abdominal surgery. This pillow maintains its shape and is not overly soft. I used it vertically as a prop for watching television and then used it horizontally to prop myself up to sleep, once I returned to sleeping in bed. I used this daily for 6 weeks or so following surgery. The cover can be removed and machine washed. The non-slip nubbies are helpful. This pilllow is high quality and really helped to minimize pain and improve my sleep after surgery.

Nice wedge pillow but not enough...

It came compacted and when I opened it expanded almost immediately, maybe took like 20 minutes to fully decompress. Its soft and comfortable and the cover is really nice. But it does have a strong chemical smell, which is normal for this kind of brand new memory foam, I just put it on a table with a window open near it and after maybe 24 hours the smell was almost completely gone.
The problem is that I bought this to have a elevated position when sleeping but the 30° are just not enough for me. I wish it was at least 45° but I could not find any pillow with that amount of degree... it's either 30° or like 75° in the other position. At the base of the pillow there is a little ridge that is comfortable for the lower back but makes me slide down in the middle of the night so I end up almost laying flat with my neck on the base ridge. With my slim build my lumbar area gets some nice support but makes my head almost have a "fall backwards" sensation, I like having my neck have a "push-forward" position with my pillow, but when adding another pillow to try and get to a comfortable position it only makes me slide down even more... :/

Very firm and durable

worked great for husbands surgery recovery. Very affordable, firmness was great, looked nice on the bed and also used it for the grandkids when they were watching a movie. Moved around with ease. Didn't use it to sleep with all night though. He could only make it half the night but that wasn't the pillows fault. It was the cast on his arm. Definitely did its purpose after surgery and the need to sit up in bed more. highly recommend
