Ondanks het kleine formaat van 49.5mm in de lengte en het lichte gewicht van 155 gram beschikt dit objectief over een groot scherpstelbereik, een bereik dat overeenkomt met 18-36mm (35mm equivalent).

De lensconstructie bestaat uit 12 elementen in 8 groepen, waaronder twee Dual Sided Aspherical (DSA)-elementen. Deze constructie met asferisch glas helpt vervormingen en afwijkingen te reduceren, waardoor jij kunt genieten van een uitstekende beeldkwaliteit op iedere brandpuntsafstand.

Dit compacte groothoekobjectief is ook uitermate geschikt om te gebruiken voor videografische doeleinden. Het Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) Mechanisme garandeert een snelle en geruisloze scherpstelling tijdens het filmen, wat de kwaliteit van je beelden én de gebruikservaring ten goede komt.
