Benny Sings brengt op 24 maart zijn nieuwe, 8e studio album, Young Hearts uit. Een album waarop Benny Sings zichzelf opnieuw uitvindt door samen met LA ster & grammy nominated producer Kenny Beats (Idles, Dominic Fike, Vince Staples, Denzel Curry) samen te werken. Niet alleen de samenwerking met Kenny Beats leidde tot een nieuwe manier van totstandkoming van het album ook de sessie’s die in Los Angeles plaatsvonden met een selectie van de beste sessie muzikanten en songwriters als Remi Wolf, Nami Ondas & Paul Castullezzo (Hether).

De oorsprong van het album ligt in in 2020 wanneer Benny & Kenny voor het eerst contact hebben. Dit contact leidt tot eerst samenwerkingen op Benny’s Beat Tape II (December 2021) (Don’t Look met Cory Henry) en 3 bijdrages op Kenny Beats zijn debuutalbum ‘Louie’ (September 2022). Benny Sings werkt meerdere malen aan het album in Los Angeles, Londen & Amsterdam met Kenny Beats. Met de release van de single ‘The Only One’ en ‘The World’ in resp. Okotber en November 2022 wordt een 1e tip van de sluier gelicht

Bijzonder aan het album zijn de thema van de liedjes op het album, herkenbaar voor velen maar niet gebaseerd op Benny’s eigen leven. Een kijk in en op de wereld en wat daar in omgaat.
