Een wijn van Weltevrede is altijd een groot succes. Dit toonaangevende wijnhuis, gevestigd in Zuid-Afrika, heeft al vele harten weten te veroveren. Het wijnhuis is gevestigd in Zuid-Afrika, welke wordt beschouwd tot de nieuwe wereld van wijnen. Echter wordt hier al eeuwenlang wijn gemaakt. Tot enkel decennia geleden was de wijnbouw vooral gericht op kwantiteit; veel flessen met een toegankelijke smaak. Inmiddels kiezen ook veel wijnhuizen ervoor om te gaan innoveren en investeren op de wijngaarden. De wijnen van Weltevrede zijn hiervan een prima voorbeeld. De geschiedenis van het huis gaat ver terug in de tijd: 1912. De familie Jonker had het Estate Weltevrede, gelegen in Robertson, in handen. Generatie op generatie bleef het wijnhuis groeien en groeien. De wijngaarden van Weltevrede liggen in het prachtige wijngebied Robertson en omvatten maar liefst 160 hectare. De Chardonnay druiven voor deze Weltevrede Calcrete Chardonnay zijn aangeplant op de meest exclusieve wijngaarden van het wijnhuis. Het terroir bevat klei en leisteen, en zorgt voor veel mineralen in de wijn. De druiven staan aangeplant op een helling, gericht naar het zuid-oosten, waardoor de omstandigheden voor een chardonnay druif perfect zijn. De druiven worden in de vroege ochtend geplukt, zodat de frisheid behouden wordt. Great buy-read update

My dog loved it right away. Kept going from his old bone to this one and finally just stuck with this one. My dog is a 90 pound 1.5 year old German Shepherd. The size is fine. I don’t know what the other people were talking about when they said the large was too small for big dogs. It’s not indestructible, after one day there were serious gouges on it, but it looks like it’s going to last quite awhile. I will say, he’s not able to gnaw off little pieces of it, and that’s a great thing.
I couldn’t give it five stars, because we just received it, and the dog has only had it for a few days. So it’s 4 stars.
****UPDATE****
As of Jan. 1, 2021, the bone is in the trash. The thing seemed to get softer and come apart more easily the more he chewed. I was finding little pieces all over and god only knows much of it he swallowed. Now I give it 3 stars.

Yes it's for aggressive chewers

I have 2 dogs a malti poo and 120 lb pit rotty mix. My son just moved in with his 8 month old pitty/ 90 lbs. needless to say we have purchased sooo many bones and toys, always have to have bones for them all or they argue and fight. This bone we have had for about 8 -9 days.. They all chew on it non stop and it is still fully intact with a few rough areas where they chewed up the suface. The picture was taken today. But keep in mind they will typically go through a large elk antler ($40) in about 4-5 days.. down to splinters. but not this bone. I got the beef. It does have a slight smell, kind of beefy but no worse than some other bones we bought. Only noticed it taking it out of the package. They all enjoy it. I was worried they wouldn't be interested because it's fake.. but no. I will definitely purchase a few more cuz when someone isn't home the pitty will chew shoes or remotes, etc. Every day was a new surprise. But he hasn't touched anything since we got this bone. I would definitely recommend for aggressive chewers and the price is reasonable.

Disappointing

I was disappointed. In the description, it mentioned it has meat aroma. It doesn't. My dog has barely paid any attention to it at all... and he will chew on anything!

Great Dog Chew!
My American Pitbull who is 10 months old is an aggressive chewer. He loves this Tikaton bacon scented dog chew. My picture reflects the part he loves the most-the center. It’s his favorite chew & has been chewing on it nonstop & there’s little sign of true wear & tear. He licks the outer portion & really focuses on chewing the center. I like how it’s a non-toxic nylon. The box clearly gives a heads up that this could be a chocking hazard so I do watch him when he’s chewing. He’s 60lbs. & I did get him a large so it’s not too small for him. I don’t foresee him choking on it but I’m cautious. Despite his aggressive chewing there has been zero sign of any piece tearing off. I like how it’s designed so he chews from the side rather than from the top or bottom. I did take a picture, for your reference, which I hope is helpful, of what the box reads in regards to the chew in general. Possibly this will determine if you feel this is right for your dog. I feel it’s a quality chew & it’s worth what I paid. I do recommend!
