Maak van keukenafval waardevolle mest met de Bokashi Emmer Starterset van Dimikro! Een bokashi is ideaal voor iedereen die op een slimme, schone en duurzame manier organisch afval wil verwerken. Binnen enkele weken zet je je GFT-afval om tot compost. Handig voor in de keuken of op een andere plek binnenshuis.
 
Bokashi composteren is makkelijk en geurloos. Je verzamelt fijngehakt keukenafval in de Bokashi-emmer en bestrooit elke laag met de Bokashi-starter (deze wordt niet bijgeleverd bij deze emmer). Sluit de emmer luchtdicht af met het stevige deksel om het fermentatieproces goed op gang te brengen. Via het kraantje tap je regelmatig Bokashi-sap af, dat je sterk verdund kunt gebruiken als vloeibare meststof voor je planten. Na 2 tot 4 weken is de compost klaar. We raden aan om de emmer op een warme plek te bewaren, en eventueel met twee emmers te werken: terwijl de ene fermenteert, kun je de andere blijven vullen.

Door je keukenafval te composteren verminder je de afvalberg. De compost die je maakt is rijk aan voedingsstoffen, verbetert de bodemstructuur en bevordert gezondheid van je tuinbodem. Zo draag je bij aan een meer circulaire tuin: afval wordt voeding, en je hebt minder externe meststoffen nodig.
