Call It Off – sinds 2013 een vaste waarde in de Nederlandse pop punk scene – gooit het deze winter over een andere boeg. In “Eras Tour goes pop punk" eert de band hun muzikale heldin Taylor Swift met een explosieve live show vol rauwe gitaren, zinderende drums en een flinke dosis emotie en nostalgie. Van ‘All Too Well’ tot ‘So High School’: Taylors grootste hits, volledig in Call It Off-stijl. De liefde voor Taylor zat er al jaren in. Drummer Sergei: “Toen ik haar in 2008 voor het eerst hoorde, voelde het alsof ik naar mijn eigen songwriting luisterde.” Wat begon als een geintje in de bandbus – een korte cover voor de lol – sloeg online zó aan dat het publiek smeekte om meer. Nu, net na hun eigen album release Not Another Sad Album, is de band alweer klaar om het volgende album te releasen. Dit najaar komt de band met een volledig Swift coveralbum. In november en december tourt Call It Off door Nederland en België met een show die Swifties én punk rock fans bijblijft. Sinds de initiële aankondiging verkochten nagenoeg alle Nederlandse shows uit binnen de kortste keren. Een tweede run in 2026 is inmiddels toegevoegd - en de band werkt aan meer data, inclusief buitenlandse shows.
