Forest Dry Gin is een Belgische gin die gedistilleerd wordt nabij Antwerpen (Ranst). 100% Belgische gin met lokaal geproduceerde ingrediënten en de distillatie gebeurt op het domein zelf. Het Forest domein bevat 3,5 hectare grond waar de "Forest kruiden" zoals bergamot, koriander, engelwortel evenals peren, appels en lavendel worden geproduceerd op ecologische manier. Het basisdistillaat, een mix van granen en water wordt vier keer in een pot still gedistilleerd. Dit wordt gebruikt als basis voor alle Forest Dry Gins. De kruiden, planten en het fruit worden geweekt en afzonderlijk gedistilleerd. Tot slot worden alle afzonderlijke distillaten samen geblend. Alles rust dan voor een paar weken om het perfecte huwelijk te verkrijgen.


Een overheersende smaak van de jeneverbes is typerend voor alle Forest Dry Gins, maar elke gin zal volgens de seizoen zijn eigen typerende seizoensgebonden smaak hebben. Voor de winter Gin gebruikt men vooral kruiden en citrusvruchten. De Forest Dry Gins zijn niet gezoet. Dit is te danken aan de expertise van de meester distilleerder en het feit dat er alleen gebruik wordt gemaakt van lokaal geproduceerde ecologische ingrediënten die Forest Dry Gin zijn zachte en ronde smaak geven.

Aangepaste Tonic: Schweppes Premium Tonic Pink Pepper, Thomas Henry Tonic

Serveren: Vul een copa glas met ijsblokjes, giet 4,5cl FOREST DRY GIN WINTER en voeg 15 cl. van uw favoriete tonic toe en garneer met een zeste van pompelmoes en 3 jeneverbesjes waarvan eventueel 1 besje licht gekneusd.
