2025 Bij de nieuwe serie ” Chanching the Mould” heeft Roderick structuur aangebracht in het oppervlak van de vaas. Deze serie is te verkrijgen in de kleur Glow en Grijs.

De MaMa vaas is een ontwerp van Roderick Vos waarbij hij zich liet inspireren door de structuren van de natuur. De fascinatie van Vos voor haar basale vormen komt voort uit de vaak verrassende eenvoud en schoonheid; ‘deling, regelmaat, ritme en herhaling’. Door een basisvorm als het ware te repeteren, ontstond in 1999 de MaMa vaas.

Tijdens het ontwerpproces van de MaMa vaas was het vertrekpunt een archetype van een symmetrische vaas te creëren. Door deze vorm op de computer te kantelen, en twee identieke vormen hier tegenaan te positioneren, ontstond bij toeval dit fascinerend drie dimensionaal lijnenspel. Inmiddels is dit ontwerp een icoon binnen de Cor Unum collectie, waar de vaas in Den Bosch geproduceerd en afgewerkt wordt.
