B-vitamines
De Multi Dag Vrouw 50+ bevat een compleet vitamine B-complex. Ideaal voor alle activiteiten die je overdag wilt uitvoeren! De doseringen in het complex zijn afgestemd op de behoefte van de 50+ vrouw en de vitamines komen in de meest actieve en biologisch beschikbare vormen. Vitamine B12 is een belangrijk vitamine voor vrouwen van 50 jaar en ouder.
De Multi Dag Vrouw 50+ bevat de best opneembare vormen van vitamine B12: adenosylcobalamine (50 mcg) en methylcobalamine (150 mcg). In tegenstelling tot de inactieve synthetische vorm cyanocobalamine, hoeven deze vormen niet meer te worden omgezet door het spijsverteringsstelsel. Met een dosering van 200 mcg vitamine B12 is een apart supplement vaak niet meer nodig.
Multi Nacht Vrouw 50+
Na alle activiteiten van de dag wil je tijdens de nacht ontspannen en slapen. De Multi Nacht Vrouw 50+ is hier speciaal op samengesteld. Boven de 50 profiteer je van andere nutriënten dan in je jongere jaren. De nachtformule bevat onder andere een riante dosering vitamine D.
Vitamine D & K
Vitamine D & K mogen niet ontbreken in de Multi Nacht Vrouw 50+. De Gezondheidsraad beveelt senioren aan extra vitamine D te gebruiken. Voor mensen ouder dan 50 jaar wordt een dagelijkse inname van 10 mcg aanbevolen, en voor mensen ouder dan 70 jaar is dit 20 mcg per dag.
Vita-algae D®: plantaardig en goed opneembaar
Deze belangrijke vitamine komt in twee vormen – D2 en D3 – waarbij laatstgenoemde het beste wordt opgenomen door het lichaam. Vita-algae D® is afkomstig uit algen en daarmee een plantaardige vorm van vitamine D3. In de nachtformule zit een ruime dosering van 25 mcg zodat het buiten de wintermaanden vaak niet nodig is een extra vitamine D supplement te nemen.
Rode Alg met hoog kalkgehalte
De rode alg (lithothamnium calcareum) is een kalkhoudende alg die in het Engels toepasselijk chalk weed wordt genoemd, oftewel ‘kalkwier’. Deze algen hebben een unieke structuur die hen in staat stelt om mineralen uit zeewater op te nemen. Naast een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid calcium, bevat de rode alg ook andere waardevolle mineralen zoals magnesium, kalium, fosfor en ijzer.
Aquamin®: duurzame rode alg
Aquamin® is een rode alg die wordt gewonnen uit de Atlantische Oceaan, voor de kust van Ierland en IJsland. Deze wateren zijn helder, vrij van vervuiling en buitengewoon mineraalrijk. Aquamin® wordt op een uitsluitend duurzame manier geoogst, met behulp van GPS-techniek. In 2016 won Aquamin® de Ingredient of the Year Award in de categorie Healthy Ageing.
NAC, een voorloper van glutathion
Glutathion wordt gesynthetiseerd door het lichaam uit de aminozuren cysteïne, glutamine en glycine. Van deze drie aminozuren is cysteïne soms lastig te verkrijgen via voeding. N-acetyl-L-cysteïne (NAC) voorziet het lichaam van cysteïne en kan daarom beschouwd worden als een voorloper van glutathion.
Zeaxanthine en luteïne: anti-aging
Zeaxanthine en luteïne behoren tot de carotenoïden, natuurlijke pigmenten aanwezig in diverse planten en voedingsmiddelen. Nice hose filter for filling hot tubs
Style: Standard Filter
I bought this for filling up my hot tub. It does the trick. Straight tap water was difficult to balance the ph and keep it stable. When I fill the hot tub using the filter, the water is more balanced and easier to maintain. I used it for two 390gal refills before I noticed it was getting slower, so ordered another one. I haven’t used it for drinking water so can’t comment on the taste. It does seem to help with hardness though.

Awesome filter! Nasty campground water no longer...
Style: Standard Filter
I have run these for years in my RV and they work killer! Here's some more in-depth thoughts:
Pros:
- These work better than I had expected. Just hook them up to the water source, hook your hose to it, run it to your trailer and viola` clean and good tasting water. Some of the places we have visited have had water that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. With this thing attached, it's very good tasting.
- I like the hose attachment that comes with this to aide in adding flexibility to the system and not put too much strain on the system. I have bought so many of these, I now use one attaching the filter to the nozzle, one out of the filter to my hose, and one attaching my hose to the trailer.
Notes:
- I will note that the manufacturer suggesting using these for only 1 camping season, and this makes sense. That's what I do, and it seems to work out great. It's not too much $ to replace every season.
- Another note, when first putting this filter into service (just the first time of the season, subsequent hook-ups wont do this) there will be a bunch of carbon (black in the water) that comes out of the faucet in your trailer. This is perfectly fine, safe, and of no issue. This is the filter breaking in and getting the extra carbon out of the system. There is no health concern with this happening. I just run the faucet until it clears up, and then we're good to go for the rest of the season.
- Last note, when we unhook from our camping spot, I swing the filter in my hand with my arm extended (using centrifugal force, not centrifical, look it up) to get the residual water out of the filter so it doesn't sit in there and spoil. I do this until I get most of the water drops to stop, leave it out on the counter to dry, and boom, it's perfect the next time.
Cons:
- None to report
Overall this filter does a great job taking care of some seriously nasty campground water that we've encountered all over the Southwest US. I cannot recommend it any higher.
