Wie last heeft van ademhalingsproblemen, astma, luchtweginfecties, snurken, rokershoest, allergieën en vernauwde bronchiën vindt in een zoutachtig klimaat een optimale omgeving om deze lichamelijke ongemakken te bestrijden. In Transsylvanië (vroeger behorend tot het koninkrijk Hongarije en nu een provincie van Roemenië) staan enorme rotsen met daarin zoutmijnen die de unieke Halit zoutsteenkristallen bevatten. In 1567 waren de eerste ontginningen, in 1762 werd de Jozsef mijn geopend en het duurde tot 1960 voordat de eerste Speleotherapie in de Doja mijn werd geopend. Het Halit zoutgesteente is namelijk miljoenen jaren oud en bevat o.a. NaCl, Mg en Calcium. De bijzondere, zoutachtige lucht reinigt het gehele ademhalingssysteem en laat het slijmvlies tot rust komen omdat de hygroscopische werking van het Halitzout optimaal actief is. Tevens worden de zwellingen in de bronchiën verminderd.
Saltpipe en de mini saltpipe.
Omdat de zoutmijnen in Praid jaarlijks door meer dan 250.000 mensen bezocht worden, heeft een Hongaarse professor begin deze eeuw een uniek product ontworpen om die puur zuivere zoutkristallen rechtstreeks bij de patiënt te brengen. Dat product werd de SaltPipe ™ Classic zout inhalator en sinds kort de Mini SaltPipe.
Sinds 2009 zijn in Nederland de SaltPipe ™ producten beschikbaar. Iedereen met bovengenoemde ademhalingsproblemen kan vanaf nu iedere dag en overal beschikken over de mobiele zouttherapie via deze SaltPipes™. De inhalator lijkt op een kleine pijp en bevat tussen de 2 porseleinen filters in, voldoende Halit zout en mineralen voor 5 jaar gebruik (de porseleinen versie). De Mini SaltPipe bevat minder Halit zout, is van plastic en kan 3 - 6 maanden gebruikt worden. De Mini SaltPipe is meer bedoeld om het product uit te proberen om daarna de porseleinen versie aan te schaffen aangezien deze per dag veel voordeliger in gebruik is, nl. 2 cent per dag.
De Saltpipe wordt ook soms zoutpijp, zout pijp of zoutinhalator genoemd.
De micro-fijne zoutdeeltjes vermengen zich met de vochtige adem en stroomt zo het ademhalingssysteem in waar het het vastzittend slijm losmaakt en nog wel zonder bijwerking!

Gebruik
Reiniging van het ademhalingssysteem.
Aanwijzigingen voor gebruik
Regelmatig enige minuten dagelijks gebruiken (max. 15 - 25 minuten) Zet het mondstuk van de inhalator in de mond en adem gelijkmatig door de mond naar binnen en uitsluitend door de neus weer naar buiten. Ingespannen ademen is niet aan te raden. NIET door de inhalator uitademen.

Dog approved.
Size: X-Large, Color: Cheese
I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead.
Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled.
Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes.
This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions.
Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird.
Final verdict:
Not cheese.
Still enjoyable.

Long lasting and safer alternative to sticks
Color: Dogwood & Calming, Size: Medium
These are great, very durable, and have lasted a very long time. Much safer for my dogs than the random sticks they find in the yard. They do get shorter with chewing eventually, but they don't break off in little chunks like I've seen with some nylon chews, and they don't splinter like wood. Medium size works well for both my 16 lb Cavalier and my 60 lb Pyrenees/Golden mix. They're both moderate-to-aggressive chewers, though size obviously affects how much damage they can do.
I wish you could buy the hemp chew separately because that one is very much a favorite in my house, so after 2 years and 2 purchases, I have barely any left of the remaining hemp chew, but still 2 of the dogwood chews that neither dog is as interested in anymore. I'd love to buy a couple more of just the hemp one.

Nice chew toy
