Shanling presenteert met de CR60 een compacte en veelzijdige audio-CD speler en ripper, speciaal ontworpen voor gebruikers die hun muziekcollectie in cd-formaat willen afspelen én digitaliseren. Dankzij het compacte ontwerp neemt de CR60 weinig ruimte in beslag, terwijl hij toch hoogwaardige prestaties levert. Voor de afspeelfunctie is de speler uitgerust met drie digitale uitgangen – USB-A, Toslink optical en coaxiaal – zodat hij compatibel is met vrijwel elke DAC op de markt. Daarnaast beschikt de CR60 over drie USB-poorten – USB-A, USB-B en USB-C – waarmee je je favoriete cd’s direct kunt rippen naar een computer, Android-smartphone, USB-stick of zelfs een DAP. Zo wordt het eenvoudig om je muziek in hoogwaardig digitaal formaat op te slaan en overal te beluisteren.

De CR60 maakt gebruik van hoogwaardige componenten, waaronder een Sanyo HD850 laserhead en een Philips drive-mechanisme. Deze gerenommeerde onderdelen zorgen voor betrouwbare en duurzame prestaties, zowel bij het afspelen als bij het rippen van cd’s. Voor een snelle en efficiënte verwerking is de speler uitgerust met een Ingenic X1000 processor, inclusief Xburst CPU en stereo ADC/DAC-interface. Dit garandeert dat alle digitale signalen nauwkeurig en vloeiend worden verwerkt, wat resulteert in een heldere en stabiele geluidsweergave.

Voor het rippen van cd’s biedt de CR60 ondersteuning via de Shanling Eddict Player-app, waarmee gebruikers hun muziek direct in FLAC- of WAV-formaat naar Android-smartphones of Shanling DAP’s kunnen overzetten. The magnet that holds the case together is very strong. The iPad itself can pivot vertically and horizontally using that magnet. This works very smooth. The magnet closure for the case itself is strong and holds well. The magnet that holds the keyboard in place also works very well. Cons; when the keyboard is in its correct position, it is difficult to angle the iPad in front into the provided grooves. The keyboard gets into the way. This prevents the iPad from reaching the grooves provided. The keyboard feels very light and cheap. The keyboard itself connected with the Bluetooth very easily. It works wonderful. I love the back light on the keyboard. The color of the keyboard is wonderful. However, as I said above, it does feel a bit cheap. But for 20 bucks, what can you ask for. When the case is folded together with the keyboard in the iPad, it is a bit bulky. But I knew that from the previous reviews and was expecting it. What I love most about this case is that the iPad can be removed using the magnet on the back from the keyboard portion, but it is still protected by the exterior plastic case. So in situations where I don’t need to use my keyboard, I can remove the iPad itself and know that it’s still protected overall I recommend this product.

It’s configured to be used in landscape mode, but if for some reason you wanted to use it in portrait mode, you can pop the keyboard off to lay it flat.
