I have olive skin that tans well, although I didn't burn at all I recommended monitoring the time you spend in the sun and maybe wear sunscreen as a base. The brush is nice but I find I needed to use a lot more product vs when I apply with my hands. I do intend on using the brush if I ever need to apply a spray tan.
