Het huis Julien Chopin is met recht een parel in het hart van de champagnestreek. Een relatief klein huis uit Monthelon (ten zuid-westen van Epernay). Emmanuel is de huidige eigenaar van dit familiebedrijf. Als vierde generatie vierde hij onlangs het 70-jarig bestaan van het huis. Een champagnehuis met veel variatie, oog voor detail en nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Chopin produceert jaarlijks zo’n 50.000 flessen champagne, waarmee je een echt exclusieve champagne in handen hebt.

Champagne ondergaat altijd een tweede gisting op fles. In dit proces ontstaan de mooie bubbels en de complexiteit van een goede champagne. De Grand Millesime wacht 10 jaar in de kelders op fles voordat hij wordt verkocht aan het publiek.

Over smaak valt te twisten

Deze champagne heeft een diepe geelgouden kleur. De bubbel is zeer discreet en complimenteert deze oprechte gourmand champagne. De eerste indruk geeft geuren van appel en peer, daarna vanille en honing. Na beluchting wordt de ervaring complexer en ervaren we tonen van gedroogd fruit en praline.

Deze grand millésimé van Julien Chopin heeft een krachtige volle smaak. Deze vintage (uitsluitend dus van druiven uit de 2008 oogst) biedt een complexe mix van hebzucht en rondheid. Deze vintage uit 2008 is in vergelijking met eerdere jaren frisser en heeft iets meer finesse. Bewaar deze vintage nog een aantal jaar in de kelder voor een warme diepe smaak of proef nu de frisheid van een complexe vintage.

Deze champagne wordt geserveerd bij een goed diner. Te combineren met vleesgerecht of zalm en fois gras, maar zeker ook met zoete gerechten met een romige textuur.

    Best organizer with a water spout to keep them counter dry!

    I am thoroughly impressed with this product. I tried a product that goes over the middle of the sink and it blocked everything off and would always fall off in a funny ways. It's sturdy metal so far seems rust resistant, but I haven't had it long enough to know for sure. Mobilize easily to clean. Fabulous little sink caddy.     Makes the Sink Area All the More Organized
