Een XC MTB-wiel moet meer zijn dan een stijve structuur; het moet responsief zijn en zich kunnen aanpassen. Het resultaat is een ultralicht XC-wiel dat elk deel van het parcours aankan, van rotsen tot wortels en groeven, met behoud van de duurzaamheid die nodig is voor trailfietsen met een veerweg tot 130 mm. De soepelheid van het wiel verbetert het vertrouwen van de rijder, waardoor hij soepeler en gedurfder kan rijden.
