De Herôme Glass Nail File is een professionele onslijtbare nagelvijl die de nagels op een zachte wijze in vorm vijlt. Het glas van de vijl is op een bijzondere manier bewerkt zodat de nagels een natuurlijker en gladdere vorm krijgen. Door de structuur van het glas kunnen de nagels alleen vanaf de zijkant richting het midden van de nagel bewerkt worden. Hierdoor wordt onjuist vijlen zoals vijlen met een “zagende” beweging absoluut onmogelijk.

De structuur van het glas sluit de nagelplaat perfect af waardoor de vorming van haakjes en scheurtjes wordt tegengegaan. Water en vuil krijgen nu geen kans de nagelplaat binnen te dringen. Tevens is de Herôme Glass Nail File zeer hygiënisch in gebruik. Herôme adviseert na gebruik de vijl met water te reinigen. De Herôme Glass Nail File is geschikt voor alle nageltypes. De druk die tijdens het vijlen wordt uitgeoefend op de vijl bepaalt namelijk de sterkte van de vijl.

Gebruik
Plaats de Herôme Glass Nail File in een hoek van 45° losjes onder de nagel. Door druk uit te oefenen worden de nagels in vorm gevijld. Als de druk op de vijl wordt verminderd strijkt deze zacht langs de nagelrand waardoor de nagelplaat goed wordt afgesloten.

Tip
• Knip en bijt uw nagels nooit! De nagel wordt dan afgebroken of gescheurd waardoor de nagelplaten open gaan staan. Vocht en vuil krijgen de kans binnen te dringen.
• Nagels ogen het mooist als de vorm van de nagelrand parallel loopt met de vorm van de nagelbasis.

Awesome Boards….BUT the Smell!!!!

I’d love to give these 5 stars, they are heavy, well made, smooth, deep juice grooves, just nice….but the smell! I washed them, then used vinegar on them, set them outside over night, washed them again….its better but still present. I’d love some guidance on this. I’m hoping it goes away in a few days. It’s like a very strong woodsy smell that actually made my whole kitchen smell like these boards! Edit: Ok, here's what I did. Washed, let dry, coated and scrubbed with apple cider vinegar, set them in a high air flow area for 24 hours (I put mine outside on the patio over night), washed and scrubbed again, let dry, scrubbed with lemons and salt, let dry, washed again. Finally, there is still a slight smell if you push them against your nose but that seems to be fading as well. So, great boards if you want to go stubbornly go through the smell removal process. I don't think it's a chemical smell, I think it's processed bamboo that is shrink wrapped in air tight packaging too soon after manufacturing. Anyway, I'll move this to 4 stars....but lots of work involved here!

Economical and descent for price

Pleased with price, style, color, and the 3 sizes of these carbonized bamboo cutting boards. Based on the reviews had the expectation of the "smell", which is the oil used to seal the cutting boards. (I suspect linseed oil was used based on the lingering smell, as the off-gasing process is longer. It's also cheaper than Tung oil and food grade mineral oil.) I work with wood and various oil sealants so the smell is a non-issue. As there are natural ways to speed that process up and minimize the smell. In addition, I will be using fractionated coconut oil or food grade mineral oil to seal cutting boards on a regularly basis (monthly or more frequent). As we live in a dry climate, hard water, and frequent use. Appreciate the other reviews which lead to our purchase and reasonable expectation of these cutting boards.
