De grootste rol wordt gespeeld door ongeveer 23 aminozuren die zich op hun beurt in �essenti�le� en �niet-essenti�le� aminozuren in laten delen. Hierbij gaat het om die aminozuren die met de voeding opgenomen moeten worden en diegene die het lichaam zelf kan aanmaken.
Zo zijn bijvoorbeeld de essenti�le aminozuren leucine isoleucine valine fenylalanine methionine threonine tryptofaan en lysine belangrijke voedingssupplementen voor sporters wiens behoefte aan aminozuren zich snel kan vermenigvuldigen. Als aan deze behoefte niet wordt voldaan dan breekt het lichaam spieren af in plaats van deze op te bouwen.
Aminozuren zoals arginine tryptofaan en fenylalanine spelen een belangrijke rol in de hormoonhuishouding slaap-waakritme en de synthese van neurotransmitters. Er is echter ook een zeker evenwicht bij de toevoer van aminozuren nodig. Een overdosering van arginine kan bijvoorbeeld leiden tot darmproblemen en verhoogde concentraties van histidine hebben een negatief effect op de geestelijke gezondheid. Daarentegen hebben glutamine en glutaminezuur een gunstig effect op stressbeheersing en versterken de algemene mentale toestand en hersenprestaties.

Pleasantly surprised!! And less than half the price of an ipad folio keyboard - I know, one feels like one has to stay in brand. So I was nervous about buying a keyboard that wasn't made by Apple. I know. I set a low bar. These days one has to. This time I didn't need to. The cover is sturdy, soft and coffee resistant, thank goodness. The keyboard just plops on, connects through magic and immediately makes me feel like I am not as stupid as I thought! Absolutely recommend this wonderful keyboard - I dunno who do this voodoo but I am very excited. Crack on my lovelies! Make those dreams a reality.
