De PC Table Lamp van Pierre Charpin voor HAY is een collectie verfijnde tafellampen. De lampen zijn gemaakt van geanodiseerd aluminium, waardoor het oppervlak beter bestand is tegen corrosie. Pierre Charpin wijdt zich sinds het begin van de jaren negentig aan het ontwerpen van meubels en objecten. Zijn benadering van design wordt sterk beïnvloed door zijn artistieke achtergrond. Pierre's onderzoek naar vorm en kleur karakteriseert zijn werk en is te zien in zowel producten in beperkte oplage als industriële producten zoals de pc-lamp. Het gebruik van een eenvoudig vocabulaire en elementaire vormen is een constant aspect in zijn werk, evenals de wens om sensuele objecten aan te bieden. De stukken van Pierre Charpin zijn opgenomen in museumcollecties over de hele wereld. Hij werd verkozen tot Designer van het Jaar 2017 bij Maison & Objet. Hij woont en werkt in Parijs.

Loved them but may not last too long

I’m kind of torn on these. I love them and I want to buy more because they were very affordable and very comfy! I’ve had them less than six months and they lose their plumpness after a few nights sleep but they are easy to fluff back up. They are pretty thick and firm but form to your head and neck perfectly..for me at least. I’ve tossed them in the washer and dryer and they have been fine. Fluffed right back up perfectly. The material inside seems to be clumping together now. it’s easy to fluff them back out but you can notice the spaces where they’re starting to clump and even though they can be fluffed again it does seem they are starting to become compacted and I find myself having to fluff them more often. I’ll see how much longer they’ll last, but I will buy again because they are pretty comfortable. I love the covers they came with also. They stay cool and wash easy! Overall, great for the price, maybe not in the long run if you continue to buy, but I’ll see how much longer they’ll stay in good shape!
