Top Notch is weer een act rijker en de donder hangt in de lucht. Zwart Licht, een samenwerkingsverband van producer Hayzee en MC Akwasi, brengt begin 2009 haar debuutalbum Bliksemschicht uit onder de vlag van Nederland's Hiphop-hofleverancier. Zwart Licht gooide hoge ogen met de nummers 'Fair Play' en 'Wat Sorry' op de GOAL soundtrack van theatercollectief MC, podia liet het tweetal in puin achter. Begin 2009 staan de schijnwerpers gericht op Bliksemschicht, een wapenfeit waarmee Zwart Licht zichzelf als een donderslag bij heldere hemel schaart onder Nederland's meest veelbelovende Hiphop-acts. Zwart Licht bestaat net een jaar maar stoomde zichzelf in hoog tempo klaar tot een groep om rekening mee te houden. In november 2007 besluiten MC Akwasi en producer Hayzee samen te werken onder de noemer Zwart Licht. Niet kort daarna voegen ze backup rapper Leeroy toe aan hun live shows en geven ze ruim 50 shows in een jaar tijd. Van Amsterdam naar Antwerpen, van Breda naar Zwolle. Inmiddels is Hayzee getekend bij Appletree Records en is Akwasi eerstejaars Theatraal Performer op de Toneelacademie in Maastricht. Samen staan ze voor al het zwarte dat in een goed daglicht geplaatst wordt. Ze staan voor contradictie. Zwart Licht staat voor hiphop, de MC en de DJ, de essentie, Akwasi en Hayzee.
