De BMS is ook uitgerust met een op afstand bediend aan/uit verbindingsstuk om de BMS (en het systeem) uit te schakelen via een op afstand bediende schakelaar en een pre-alarm contact, om een waarschuwingssignaal te geven voordat de BMS de batterijen uit het systeem zal ontkoppelen.
