Al palato è di grande armonia, minerale, succoso, sapido e lievemente speziato. Lunghissimo sul finale."Il Pettirosso" Arpepe è la sintesi perfetta di due grandi “terroir” di Valtellina: Sassella e Grumello. Prodotto solo nelle annate migliori, l’omogeneizzazione di due areali molto differenti si ottiene solamente con una macerazione molto lunga e un affinamento paziente in botte. Il risultato però merita sicuramente la lunga attesa. Nonostante dimostri, costantemente, al palato il suo carattere, l’armonia e la finezza la fanno da padrone.
Ottimo in abbinamento a secondi di carne rossa e selvaggina, si sposa particolarmente bene con i primi a base di funghi.
