Met een controleerbaar volume van maximaal 120 dB biedt de "Sonumaxx-2.4" een uitgebalanceerd en aangenaam helder geluid, zelfs in het bovenste versterkingsgebied. Tegelijkertijd bleek de transmissie tussen de zender en de ontvanger resistent en veilig te zijn via de 2,4 GHz -frequentieband.

Voor het aansluiten van de zender op de audiobron - een tv -apparaat of een ander audiosysteem - zijn alle gemeenschappelijke verbindingskabels opgenomen in de verbindingskabelset, inclusief Toslink.

De zender dient als een retentie- en dockingstation voor de ontvanger en nodigt zijn batterijen uit. Een 100 procent opgeladen batterij maakt een bedrijfstijd van ongeveer 6 tot 8 uur mogelijk. Twee ontvangerbatterijen zijn opgenomen in de set, zodat ze afwisselend en opgeladen kunnen worden gebruikt. Aan de voorkant van de "Sonumaxx-2.4" -zender is er een selectieknop waarmee de gebruiker kan kiezen uit drie voorgeprogrammeerde geluidsprofielen die het dichtst in de buurt komen van zijn gehoorsensatie.

De ontvanger "Sonumaxx-2.4": luister naar tv-toon, niemand stoort en schakelt over om te verbeteren indien nodig

De behuizing voor de kaakontvanger en de pocket -ontvanger en hun bedieningselementen zijn identiek. Een speciaal comfortfunctie van de ontvanger "Sonumaxx 2.4" is de optie om over te schakelen naar communicatie met een druk op de knop vanuit de ontvangst van de televisietint. Vervolgens absorbeert een geïntegreerde microfoon de geluiden van het gebied en "sonumaxx-2.4" vindt het opnieuw uit.
