Gyles Webb kocht in 1983 Thelema, een charmante vervallen fruitboerderij. Er werden fruitboomgaarden uitgetrokken en er werden wijnstokken geplant. Het landhuis werd gerestaureerd en de eerste wijnen onder het Thelema-label werden in 1988 uitgebracht. De rijpe, puur fruitige wijnen waren voor velen een openbaring en het duurde niet lang voordat het romantische verhaal van een vervallen oude fruitboerderij het succes werd. Verhaal van een avant-garde wijnmakerij. Tegen het midden van de jaren 90 waren de wijnen van Thelema binnen een maand na de release uitverkocht, waardoor het een van de meest gewilde wijndomeinen in Zuid-Afrika is. Gelegen op de top van de Helshoogte Pass met hoogtes die variëren van 370 tot 640 meter boven zeeniveau en voornamelijk hellingen op het zuiden, is het ook een van de hoogste en coolste landgoederen in het gebied. De grote hoogte en de dieprode bodems zijn ideaal voor de productie van hoogwaardige wijndruiven. Het terroir in combinatie met de wijnmaakstijl van Gyles Webb resulteert in smaakvolle, flamboyante, complexe en duurzame wijnen met een onderscheidend Zuid-Afrikaans karakter.Voor perfectie is geduld nodig
De Chardonnay druiventrossen worden na de oogst gestalkt en geplet, gekoeld en 's nachts in contact met de schil gelaten voordat ze geperst, bezonken en uit de grove droesem in 33 procent nieuwe Franse barriques werden geperst waar alcoholische en malolactische fermentatie plaatsvond bij ongeveer 21 graden. Battonage werd eens in de drie weken uitgevoerd gedurende een totale verouderingsperiode van 11 maanden. De Thelema Chardonnay heeft een rijke, heldere, goudgele tint en een aromatische, complexe neus van limoenmarmelade, guave en meloenfruit en geroosterde eiken nuances. De smaak is medium tot vol en rond, boordevol weelderige tropische fruitsmaken, een heerlijke minerale streak en goed geïntegreerd, nootachtig eikenhout dat een romige textuur in de mond geeft. Eindigt zacht en sappig en is een wijn die goed op fles kan rijpen.Shipping Notes

15 Minutes….with update x2

Within 15 minutes my 10-month old puppy had one of the moose antlers torn half off. I’ll see if he is able to destruct any more of this “indestructible” toy. If it holds up I’ll come back and upgrade the number of stars but for now…not impressed.
UPDATE:
Sadly he was able to rip it open via the appendages (the legs). The main body of the toy seems pretty tough but no dog is going to keep away from the legs. Downgrade to 1 star.
UPDATE #2:
I just received my second attempt at using this “indestructible” toy. This time I went with the rino since the legs are rope and not a sewn on leg. Well, in about 5 minutes my puppy had the horn torn and the horn provides direct access to the inside stuffing. As mentioned above, the legs are rope. The design was pretty smart in that both the front legs is one posted of rope going through a hole made in the stuffed toy. Same for the rear legs. This prevents the dog tearing them off and getting access to the stuffing. Sadly the horn being torn off right away makes this toy destructible.
I think the only way they may be successful calling this an indestructible toy would be if they made a ball out of the body material or perhaps something in the shape of a bone.

AWESOME TOY for aggressive chewers
My 4 legged fur baby has only had for a few days. Now we’ve purchased several others in the past and he LOVES them. EXTREMELY durable. He is a dachshund and loves to destroy his toys. It’s almost like it’s a mission to see how fast to get the stuffing and squeakers out of his toys and can say he has been unable to destroy any. Now the reason I gave this only 4 stars is because the end of the tail has hair like material and he did start tearing this apart. Was finding the hair on his blanket and hanging out of his mouth. So I just trimmed the tail and he is back to loving on his toy. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Cute and my dog loves it
My dog loves toys she can play rough with both her teeth and paws and this one was loved the second it came out of the packaging. We liked that the eyes are sewn patches so nothing to swallow if it detaches (other than the material). The knotted ropes that form it’s arms and legs actually move through the body from side to side, which makes tugging games fun and interesting. We also liked that there were no dangling easy-to-chew off bits, for example, the ears are tiny nubs so she can’t get them off with her teeth easily. The stuffing is also firm and full so it’s like a soft toy to cuddle up with but with rope limbs to sink her teeth into. She rates it highly.

Chew proof except for stuffing

I left Sage with her new chew toy and was distracted by something in the other room. I came back not 5 minutes later, and this was what I saw! Stuffing all over the floor! And that was just the beginning. By the end of the day, I had cleaned up stuffing several times from separate sessions with the toy! The rest of the poor toy is holding together, except that it has lost a couple of squeakers. I don't know whether to recommend it or not. Sage is exceptionally, extraordinarily, extremely, immensely, and profoundly aggressive when she chews (on inanimate objects only -- no humans or other animals!).

Great hit with my dog

The gray rhino is a great hit with my dog. She's a medium size golden (53lbs) likes to chew and tug, but she is not not too aggressive with toys, and this has become her favorite toy. Over the last 2 weeks she's removed the top arms from the body and "killed" one of the squeakers, and the arms are now a separate tug toy. We could have put the arms back, but she figured out those come off, and she would take them out again. The armless rhino is still the one she carries around from room to room, plating tug and fetch with every day. The toy is very well stitched, the fabric is of good quality and there are no small pieces that come apart to be swallowed. It gets dirty from all the playing so I plan to throw it in the wash every month or so.
