Niet alleen moet Wilbur het opnemen tegen zijn vijanden, maar ook moet hij allerlei puzzels oplossen. Bij het oplossen van die puzzels en het volbrengen van de missies komt hij allerlei nieuwe items en upgrades tegen. Ook beschikt Meet the Robinsons over allerlei minigames.
