Sinds 1990 is het wijnhuis La Braccesca een juweel in de kroon van de Antinori familie, verspreid over twee distinctieve zones: Montepulciano en Cortona. Deze strategische ligging biedt de unieke mogelijkheid om diverse wijnen te produceren. Cortona, de thuisbasis van La Braccesca Achelo, pronkt met 337 hectare wijngaarden aan de voet van schilderachtige heuvels nabij de stad. In de wijnmakerij van La Braccesca worden ze vervolgens met precisie behandeld: zorgvuldig ontsteeld, zachtjes geperst, en onderworpen aan koude inweking en fermentatie in roestvrijstalen vaten. 70% van La Braccesca Achelo wordt vervolgens overgebracht naar gebruikte barriques voor verdere gisting en rijping, terwijl de resterende 30% zijn karakter blijft ontwikkelen in roestvrijstalen tanks.La Braccesca Achelo Cortona Syrah: Een Smaaksensatie

ESSENTIAL for all parents and educators to read

As an elementary educator for the last fifteen years, I finally found a book that put all the frustration and wondering of why kids come to school struggling, drained, and overwhelmed. Borba states, "We are creating strivers, not thinkers, produced to be test-takers while missing the opportunity to be people."
She points out that we are all running on empty. In her book, she discusses the 7 core strengths that kids need in order to shine. Thrivers not only provides readers with current research, but it has practical and easy tips that both parents and educators can do to help foster a new generation of thrivers and not strivers.
If you are worried about your children's mental health, depression, anxiety, and stress, you must read this book. This book comes at a time when we all must work together to move the pendulum of what achievement looks like in 2021 and reimagine education for our youth, tweens, teens, and young adults.

A highly readable mix of practical strategies, engaging anecdotes and research-based insights, Thrivers underscores the importance of our kids' innate character strengths for their success and happiness. I found this book perfectly timed, given all the pandemic-related stress our teens have had on top of everything else! Helpful pinpointing which traits to focus on
Format: Hardcover
I loved the format of the book, how are you take a diagnostic test and then read the sections that pertain to the character traits that you want to strengthen in your child. But when I read the chapters, I was disappointed. I was hoping for new information. If I had never read a book on how to support my child’s development and education, I would have been delighted.
